I havent really done anything other than to load this with all of my important documents, music, etc., but that process was quite uneventful and it loaded quickly. Hard to believe this little device houses 256 GB, but, as we know, someday it will be 512. It is sleek, a real lifesaver of a device as a back up and checking with my friends at BH Photo is the FIRST thing I do when shopping for items like this.

I upgraded from a 2.0 to this 3.1 drive. I love the look and heft of the metal body, but it is a very snug fit into the computer. You have to be very careful when inserting. If you are plugging in and leaving it there, no problem. If you will be taking in and out daily, it might be over time.

I really like this USB stick. The read/write speed is decent. I do wished there was a light showing when it’s working but overall it’s very attractive and works well. I’ve done some testing for shockproof, waterproof, magnet and temperature proof. No damage to the exterior and continued to work reliably. Overall, I’m pleased with the quality and durability. I would definitely recommend this drive.

The ergonomic shape and good speed make this a great buy. I use it for storing astrograph images taken with one shot color cameras during a session, then transferring such to a disc drive.

I have generally had OK luck with this usb key and when it works the performance is good. However I have found sometimes the low-profile connector doesn’t properly plug into some standard usb ports. Also a note about ergonomics: when this is sitting flat on a desk, it is difficult to pick up naturally by the thick end, since the keychain end tapers up smoothly and has a slippy matte finish, I usually have to pick it up carefully by the narrow flatter part, or slide it to the edge of the desk to get a grip on it.

The metal body is sleek and seems well built. The form looks great and doesn’t get in the way of other drives. One issue is the write and read speeds are very slow. I’ve run many tests and I’m getting 25 mbs. The same as my USB 2 devices. It’s a good price for a large amount of memory. Just don’t trust their reported speeds. “Up to 300MB/s Data Transfer Speed” doesn’t mean anything about normal write speeds.
