This metalic thumbdrive is just a solid, functional drive. One of the things I like about it is that it’s narrow enough that it doesn’t interfere with other USB devices in my too-close-together USB ports on my laptop.

I distribute hundreds of videos on flash drives every year. I’m always looking for ones that not only have fast access speed, but more importantly to me, have a fast write speed since the duplication time is a critical component to work flow. This is the best I have found thus far (and I’ve tried many) and as a bonus, comes in a rugged steel constructed case. Additionally, I’ve never had a client complain about a defective drive. Summary, this is my go to drive for error free video distribution. Note: comes formatted as FAT32. You will need to re-format to ExFat to copy large video files.

It is one of the fastest flash drives around. Being made of metal, it is among the most durable. Being small, it is easy to carry–but also easy to lose. It does not come with a lanyard, nor does it come with backup software. But if you just want a fast flash drive, it is one of the best.

The drive has failed after one month of very occasional use. I purchased the drive via RS Components at the end of July 2021. The drive can no longer be detected by the pc. The drive is also too tight fitting in the USB ports. I’m sending the unit back to RS Components and will not be looking for a replacement, I cannot trust the device. Great little drive. Looks bigger in any of the pictures but is actually the size of a USB port and only about an inch long. Metal so it has some heft. So far, I’ve transferred about 14 DVDs to it and I’m about 3/4 to full.

When you look at it, it may seem like you average USB stick but when you pick it up, you realize its the real deal. Its what my roommate would say, “Hefty” like its heavily good. Yes its got some weight to it but it should since its made of metal. It lets you know that it can handle hard drops hence the shockproof. Its also a plus knowing that it is waterproof although i don’t recommend it but I have my days where i accidentally put it through the washer. As a wanna be IT guru I recommend this flash drive. With speeds up to 200mb meaning it transfers and reads files really fast. How fast? 3GB 4K UHD video file from your Bar Plus to your PC in just 10 seconds, that fast. What i also like about this flash drive is it’s simple, sleek design. It feels and looks luxury but you pay a reasonable price for its functionality and everything else is a huge bonus. Honestly, why you still reading this buy this flash drive and you want regret in getting it.
