I bought this to upgrade an old hard drive and the difference in performance is well recognized. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who’s trying to upgrade or use it for extra storage.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL DATA AND OPERATING PROGRAMS SAVED PRIOR AS THEY ARE REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION. WITH WIN 10 MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE OP SYSTEM SAVED PROPERLY AND THAT YOU HAVE 10 AND NOT SOME OTHER OPERATING SYSTEM ON YOU TUMB DRIVE.

I had this art Drive installed in my late 2011 MacBook Pro and it’s like a new machine this is something I should’ve done along time ago great product highly recommend. I can even see a difference in all my software the machine boots up very quickly all software opens up extremely quickly.

These are my goto drive for my mac pro. Simple to use, never had a problem with them, cost effective and good quality. Keep an eye out. They go on sales every once in a while. I grabbed this third one on sale.

I use Samsung 250GB Evo’s as boot volumes for older systems I have. Perform well, rock solid. When I need to replace or install a drive, Samsung is what I choose.

Not much to review on currently as I just started using my first RAID (DIY). Both drives seem to be working as expected.

I’m using this SSD with my raspberry pi to host a docker server and it is a lot more stable now without SD card.

So, I wanted a 4T drive. I usually get the Pro version of this drive, but could not afford it and I needed the drive space. This works great. Be sure to note that you’ll need to make sure your computer can handle a 4T drive. When I just plugged it in to my laptop, it showed up as a 2T drive and I couldn’t just get it to operate as 4T. As it turned out, I needed to upgrade my BIOS, and format the drive as GPT. Also, if put into an external enclosure, you’ll need to ensure USB 3.1 interface with your computer. USB 3.0 might work…. I don’t know.

This is the 4th Samsung SSD that I have purchased in recent months. There is a definite improvement in performance when the existing primary hard drive is replaced with these SSD’s.

I’ve purchased several of these SSDs over the years and they’ve all been great . Software for data copying is also perfect for migrating to the new SSD.

Bought it for my Intel NUC unit (also bought at BH). It works really well with fast read/write speed!

I installed three 1TB SSD into my desktops using Samsung Magician.. One of the best investments to my units. They preform with amazing speed and performance. I highly recommend this type of component. All my electronic products from Samsung perform well in these modern as they should.

This drive is cost effective and solves storage issues with the Atomos Ninja V. I wish it was half its price but it is still half the price of an Atomos drive.
