Works great, as always

Purchased two for mirrored storage configuration. They are running well. Installed simply, as expected.

Was fast but didn’t last. Failed in 12 months of light usage, causing a full loss of all files. Buyer beware: they fail fast, and after 90 days, the warranty only provides you with a refurbished unit. How long do you think that will last. Look elsewhere and don’t be lured in by the low price. It’s worthless when it fails!!!

Very good

With samsung you get quality and durability. I’ve had my original 250gb drive for years no problem. I think it costed more or the same as the 1tb now. Good time to upgrade.

The drive performs fine, is easy to install, but is extremely unreliable. I suffered early data loss after installing the drive.

Works great, it is very fast and reliable.

I used many Samsung Internal SSD, run so fast and safely. First of all, I used 500 gigs for driveC, when this drive was almost full, I replaced and drone the first one by Samsung 1TB. After 1TB was full, I replaced the second one and drone with this Samsung 2T. Both B&H and the products of Samsung are perfect.

This was recommended to me by a technician doing (extended) warranty service on my laptop. The results are a super-fast startup at a little over a minute, and virtually instantaneous to bring up apps. Installation was simple and cloning the old drive with the StarTech cloner made this a snap.

I bought this 870 EVO SATA 2.5″ SSD 1 Tb drive last summer for my aging desktop computer and the change was significant. The speed increase was beyond my expectations, making the unit act as if it were new. Start-up was much less than a minute whereas before I had to wait up to 3-5 minutes. All of the programs that I use daily come up immediately not the 2-3 minutes I used to wait. As a result of the speed-up, I purchased a second 870 EVO 256 megabytes for my laptop and was rewarded with an equal increase in speed from start-up to loading programs. I highly recommend the 870 EVO SSD drives to anyone suffering from a sluggish computer. evo

I bought this product for the Xbox Series X and it works great. When transferring games using a Cat 7 eithernet cord and 1000 Mbps internet speed I was getting 2.4 Gb per second transfer speed. Saved a lot of time from back to back downloading from the game store.

Replaced a 5400 rpm 1 TB drive on a mac mini 2014. Samsung does not have apple cloning software so I downloaded a trial carbon copy clone software. The old HD was real slow.. it was still good, no bad sectors found. I found some important tool to gain access to the motherboard, & slide it out without cracking the motherboard at the I fix it co., these tools are all important to properly replace an ssd HD. This apple mini can still download the newest version 10.16, so I figure I can get another 3 – 5 years with this replacement.. wish I could upgrade the memory.. the 1st components to fail are the HD, & memory.. if apple would make these products more user friendly repair ability, the product life could easily be duplicated.. I have another 3 – 5 years of more life w/ this new Samsung ssd..

Was easy to install and load the software and transfer the operating software to the new drive. Boot-up time was drastically improved.

Made a perfect clone of the identical Samsung 500gb drive containing my Win 7 Pro OS system I purchased in May of 2012. But as most know, its waaaaaay to early to tell if this drive is going to last.

I bought this about 9 months ago to expand the storage in my Dell XPS system. The drive is fast, has tons of storage, and has been perfectly reliable. The Samsung Magician software made it a breeze to optimize and test the drive, and to monitor it’s health.

Upgraded my old Dell from a WD spinner to this Samsung SSD. Fit seamlessly in the Sonnet Transposer 2.5 SSD to 3.5 Drive Tray Adapter (also purchased from B&H). Drive came up w/o issue. It’s early-on in it’s lifetime, but I am hopeful it will be all I expected from an SSD.
