The Samsung drive is working amazing. The B&H support before purchasing was right on the money. The migration tool provided by Samsumg worked as advertised. I am learning more about Samsung Magician (SSD app for tuning) but so far it has been helpful. I did need a 2.5 to 3.5 mounting adaptor – cheap at $10. I did have to up my RAM from 8 to 16 GB to make everything run as new even though it is an older PC.

I bought the ssd drive to separate my operating system from my games, and to speed up the load time for my games. It was very easy to install. I partitioned in half and have my Forza racing games on one half and my Truck driving games on the other. I love it. I think when I buy the second one, it will be for my operating system and I will replace my old HDD drive.

Install it…and it works. Why four stars rather than five? I’m reserving five stars for the SSD which, when installed and powered up, all by itself condenses the desired software out of the ther, debugs the installation, and starts running, entirely on its own. Now, THAT would be worth at least five stars.
