The Samsung 1TB 870 QVO 2.5″ SATA III Internal SSD is their 2nd generation QLC SSD for PC and laptop use. It has a 2.5″ form factor at 7 mm tall and utilizes the SATA III interface to achieve sequential read and write speeds of up to 560 and 530 Mb/s respectively. Additionally, it comes with Samsung Magician Software for drive health monitoring and updates, and is backed by a three-year warranty.

Needed a hard drive with more space and better loading speeds. This product definitely delivered both. I didn’t install it myself I took it to a local shop to have installed, only took a few hours and I was back in business. Excited that this SSD is compatible with my MacBook and now load up times are extremely faster and the capacity is 4 times greater! This upgrade allows me to be able to complete system updates without having to worry about not having enough memory. Need to add one of these to my son’s PS4!

I’m afraid I cannot recommend 4TB SSD…. I have returned mine and I was told no issues and it was returned to me. Upon receipt it would not format, had to wipe again, at which time it did format and was able to Partition into 2 – 2Tb drives….. I have a 2 large encrypted files. I keep 1 on each drive….. The first partition has repeatedly gone corrupt! Luckily I have a backup on my Lenovo SSD that never has any problems with this file…… I have unencrypted and individual files dissappear and are also corrupted on this partition.. Drive must be wiped to reformat. The second partion never corrupts that file… ….. It appears to be dependant on file, but as I said, my Lenovo SSD has no issues with either file and never looses files or has any corruption. (originally stated Visio, obviously incorrect. Existing good SSD is Lenovo)

We purchased the 1 TB Samsung 870 QVO SATA III drive to use in our xBox 1x gaming system. To say there are avid gamers in our house would be an understatement, so drive speed is a huge deal here! This drive didn’t disappoint. We didn’t use a stopwatch, but we did have a friend bring over his xBox 1x and we compared loading speed and performance. It wasn’t hard to figure out who the clear winner was. The xBox with the new SSD drive beat the pants off our friend’s xBox, both in game loading and game performance. He’s now a believer in this drive and is going to get one for his gaming system. If you want to increase your game loading and performance, this drive is a sure winner. We wouldn’t, and didn’t, hesitate to recommend this drive to anyone who wants a performance boost. We are really happy with this drive. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion! Giving this five stars was the easy part!
