I left a review a couple of months ago of 5* but am updating because since the review, I am really becoming aware that I should have gotten the S7 or S7+ strictly for the ram and because I am now experiencing the quick drain of the battery. I should note that I use the tablet for everything and realize that I will experience quick battery draining issues but not even getting the time like I did before, I’m talking I get 1 to 2 hours tops before I need to charge it again. The unit heats up, and although it’s still quick to charge, I feel that only being able to use it for a couple of hours, depending on what I am doing at the time, is frustrating and the ram fills so quick, one main reason being you can’t disable anything Samsung preinstalled to save on the battery and it constantly adds to the ram when you aren’t using any of those apps. If you want to watch videos or listen to music or game, be aware, after only 6 months, you will need to charge it more often. It’s a shame that Samsung stopped at 4g ram on this unit. Should have at least 6. Been researching an upgrade already.

I purchased the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite as a replacement for my daughter’s older broken tablet. Many of the lower priced tablets come with older Android, and don’t promise much in the way of future Android updates. This one came with current Android, and offers 3 version updates. The size, display, and performance are all very good for the price. And it came in chiffon rose. My daughter loves her new tablet.

i wanted a tablet for daily activities (internet, email and this serves that purpose). Pen works well, looking forward to doing more. Able to use Brave (new free ad blocking/tracking browser). Uploaded all apps, files, etc from my LG smartphone. Digital keyboard is small but found it can be resized. Ordered 2020v Moko magnetic cover and paired wireless keyboard from another retailer which work well. Note compact key size would still be small for most men’s hands. pen and keyboard stow nicely inside magnetic cover.

So far this tablet has been good for the price. It is lacking some of the features of more expensive tablets but can still get the job done. I think the most obvious feature lacking in this tablet is the screen resolution. It is good but nowhere near what you get with the more expensive tablets. As a budget tablet I would still recommend it all day.

Overall, I really like it! However sometimes it freezes a bit when using the browser, and sometimes when drawing with the S-Pen it still mistakenly registers part of my palm (and it makes a marking on the drawing). Overall though, for the price compared to other similar tablets and including the S-Pen, it is still an extremely solid and great tablet. The screen is great quality and very clear, the sound is great, and having the Samsung camera is nice to have too. The tablet seems very durable and it is very nice to have. It has many great features and uses. I can plug in my earphones (it has an audio jack) and watch Netflix with the amazing screen resolution, I can handwrite equations on the screen to help me visualize, I can draw on it quite nicely, etc. Also, the battery life lasts a good amount of time. Overall it is a very good tablet. I would recommend it.

the quality of this is great if you are thinking of buying a tab s6 lite i would recommend the s pen works great. the only problems i have is the pixels but to be expected with a less expensive version of the s6 and also the bluetooth range it doesn’t seem to be too far i get 3 feet and the audio cuts out. other than that it works great.

I wanted a good basic tablet for reading articles, searching the web, and watching video clips away from my desk and this Galaxy Tab S6 Lite easily fits that bill at a reasonable price, plus it can do much more. The 10.4 size is perfect for hand-holding and much easier to read than my iPhone-7 for longer periods, while my laptop has the extra screen resolution and power for processing photos. The tablet seems set up for using Google Chrome right out of the box, all my bookmarks were easily available, and many tabs can be used & available at the same time. My finished Jpeg photos saved to OneDrive at about 1.2 MB each display very nicely on this tablet but, for some reason, they are not quite as sharp or crisp when viewed on the tablet after being posted to a Facebook group. The included pin is nice and keeps the screen clear of fingerprints, but the touch screen seems overly sensitive at times and it’s easy to inadvertently hit a link while scrolling up or down a page, which takes some getting used to. I also purchased the Samsung book cover made specifically for this tablet and highly recommend it (see separate review of cover). All-in-all, I’m quite pleased with both of these purchases for my needs.

tab s6 lite is pleasure to use its a little slow with some applications due to the Device specs but I find after Tweaking the Settings and putting some apps to sleep and running Galaxy Labs apps it made a difference, the Spen is Fantastic for coloring and Writing if you’re looking for a Tablet for Web browsing and casual use this is half a price of the S6 tab

The tablet is great. It’s not, like, the greatest in the world but for a midrange model it delivers on every promise it makes. Great Wi-Fi for streaming and plenty of storage for media. Only downside is the lower level tft display in lieu of the now-basically-standard oled/amoled, but the price drop more than makes up for it
