The Samsung 8.0″ 32GB Galaxy Tab A is an entertainment-ready tablet with a 13-hour battery life and a crisp 8″ display for binge watching videos. A 1280 x 800 resolution offers crisp, clear HD content reproduction and its thin bezels provide a more immersive viewing experience. It’s powered by a 2.0 GHz Snapdragon 429 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of built-in storage, which is expandable by up to 512GB via its microSD card slot. Users can also take selfies and pictures using its front 2 MP and rear 8 MP cameras. When power is low, recharge it using a micro-USB cable. Connectivity options include a 3.5 mm audio jack, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.2. The operating system installed is Android 9.0 Pie.

The specs are almost identical to last years model (T380). The main differences that I’ve noticed are the following. Deleted home button. Some may prefer this change and others may not. Main problem with this tablet is they went back to a micro-usb charger. The previous model (T380) used a usb-c plug as all new electronic should use. If I had know this I would not have bought it. I would have looked for the older model to purchase.

no light with the camera, charger is different and super short, nothing else has changed from 2017 model, just things taken away. such a disappointment.

Got mine for Christmas, and 3 days later I had used 30 out of 32GB internal storage on apps. Bought a samsung 256GB sdcard ( great value at A ). Put in, format, and .. no way to move apps to sd card. The option ( apps, app, storage, move ) is not there. The newer android option to format sdcard as internal st6is also not there. So I’m returning the tablet. Shame, otherwise nice paperback book sized modern tablet with great battery life. No auto sleep wake function that I could find either. Has micro USB, not the newer usb. Again, shame.

i bought this about 2 weeks ago and it works as advertised. (i mostly use it for Netflix, games, and social media.) This product is great for what you pay. (especially if you compare them to apple.)

great service from B&H in terms of price and shipping. Tablet itself is fine. Was quite a bit of bloatware from Samsung. Disappointed with that. Also was hoping for a great camera which Samsung is famous for but this one seems a bit average. Keyboard socks.

Almost good, if the wifi was unthrottled. Nothing worse then a beautiful tablet with a dinosaur 28.8 modem speed at download. The upload speed is actually faster. Just isn’t right.

i have owned several tab a 8 in and bought several for others. i bought this 2019 as an upgrade to 32 gigs. nothing is ever fast, i don’t like the anything about it. doesn’t update apps quickly. i’m still waiting for the same 5 to update and install since late night. i wish i had as good experience as with the other purchases.

so angry for not spending the extra 150 and getting myself an ipad. 2017 model runs circles around this garbage. samsung you don’t belong in the budget realm of things whatsoever. micro usb still a useless micro sd card slot because you can’t save freaking apps to it. who the is going to take 512 gb worth of photos on a tablet with an eight megapixel non-flash camera. i think android anything is severely lacking in optimization for app storage as that in my opinion is one of the most important and appreciated features of my ios devices and since android can’t do what apple does i don’t give your users a choice on what’s more important to them movie storage or app storage since obviously android doesn’t give both.

not a blazing speed demon, not a power house, but for the money this is a great value. i used it primarily for streaming services, some video chat and gaming, which for me is plenty enough. the battery life has been exemplary.

i bought this tablet one month ago and absolutely loved it. fast, good battery life, sleek, light. but, after a month of use, it randomly started to glitch and wouldn’t respond to my inputs. it’s in perfect condition, i have a case for it, there are no scratches or dents. it just stopped working really. very disappointed.

i have had the galaxy tab 4 7.0 for a few years and i like samsung products and just wanted a new tablet so i went with the tab a 8.0 and it is a very nice tablet. it was very easy to set up and it has a lot of room. i like this tab so much that i gave my computer away.
