SanDisk makes a nice memory drive. The fact that the end retracts into the case is both good and bad. It’s good because it keeps the end clean and away from danger. It’s bad as it is sometimes sticks and requires two hands to work.

I got 2 cars recently, Acura ILX and RDX, and finally able to play music via USB on the car. I was using 2 Sandisk 16g USB2.0 USB Flash Drives on each car, those 2 Flash drives look almost exactly the same with this one except they don’t have blue USB connector and they have large red light blinking when connected. For some reason, they just don’t act right. For example, the music can not switch through folders when pressing PREV&NEXT song button on ILX, only can go back and forth it within the folder. (PS. Don’t tell me it’s setting, ILX doesn’t have setting like that). Anyway, after I switch to this one, all issues were gone. PREV&NEXT song button on the ILX can switch through folders. It means when I press NEXT in A folder’s last song, it will go to the 1st song in B folder. Plus USB3.0 is just faster, much easier to transfer files and save a lot of time.

I’ve had good luck with SanDisk products and this flash drive is no exception. I’m using it to store my video collection so I can start getting rid of the physical DVDs that take up way too much space. The 256gb drives store over 200 videos each in a very small package. Pricing on the drives (on Sale for under $) was great,

A good price from B&H for this flash drive. For my peace of mind, I bought this as an extra back up. I can easily take it with me and it’s very light weight. (I thought it would have a little more weight to it). I hope it lasts awhile. Easy to file away for safe keeping. I’ll keep adding photos and copies of my art work to it. I’m giving 5 stars for now – based on my short time using the SandDisk 256gb flash drive.

This flash drive is small but not as tiny as the ultra-fit. I like that it retracts into itself to keep it safe and I don’t have to find something to store it in. 3.0 helps make it fast.
