It does what I bought it for

it’s good, not much to it. I think it’s great for what it’s intended to do, but I don’t use it much. A good product though.

I’ve counted on SanDisk for years, from memory cards to flash drives. They’re dependable, durable, and well priced. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy again!

I have an occasional need to ship a large quantity of Jpeg images (5,000+) to a web client. In the past, I used DVDs which were cumbersome to make and send. Next I went to Sandisk plastic bodied flash drives, which worked well but were susceptible to damage in the postal system. To safeguard against this, I made a small wood plate from 1/2 thick plywood with a slot cut out in the center to house the drive- like an armored shell. This worked OK but wasnt perfect. Then I discovered these Ultra Flair drives that are just the ticket for my purposes. Their metal shell is very durable so I can send them as-is in an envelope, or maybe taped to a thin piece of cardboard (cereal box) to prevent shifting. And, theyre reasonably priced for the amount of data theyll handle, and easy for the recipient to return by mail for my re-use next time.

works fine and is very small and large capacity. the software that come with it to auto back up and some other activities are more trouble to figure out than just copy and paste the folders you want to back up. give me the good old days when operating the screen was select and drop into the trash.

Physical size looks like a miniature. The thin metal cools the electronics by convection. It gets warm to the touch but it is not a problem…

I use this for my music library in the car. The small size works great and doesn’t get in the way of other things plugged in next to it.

It’s a 3.0 drive meaning you’ll get speeds of around 24-100mbps depending on the machine you’re using. It is fast enough that I can even edit 1080p 60fps videos from it, using it as the video file storage and the cache in my editors.

I formatted this deeply so as to stress it. No failure in that regard. (Did have a PNY USB stick fail after I formatted it out of the box, so thats why I always try to stress new storage with a deep format when I get it.) The loop is weak plastic, so unlike the Samsung competition. But this drive works well as storage. The plastic loop is weak enough (no, I have not broken it but Im sure I could quite easily) that Id not purchase an USB stick from this Sandisk line again. Samsung makes the loops out of the metal of the case. Id lost my Samsung USB stick, so bought this as a replacement. Then I found the Samsung under a chair.

This usb is great for capacity, but not good when it heats up, can literally burn you from being plugged in too long…

I use these for wedding image delivery because they’re moderately fast and most of all they are slim and can be delivered in envelope style packaging with no mailing issues.

seems warm to touch when you copy big files (I use it to transfer video files to client) but otherwise all good.
