The 16 GB SanDisk Ultra Flair USB 3.0 Flash Drive is super tiny and easy to put on your keychain for easy access whenever you may need it. It is a USB 3.0, so you get faster transfer speeds than regular USB 2.0 flash drives. SanDisk is my go-to brand for media storage. This flash drive can also be password protected and data encrypted. SanDisk has great products and they are very reliable.

Quick file transfers but it does get hot. Slim design doesn’t interfere with adjacent USB ports. I use it with the QFX CV-103 PVR and it has worked well so far. My 1TB WD external drive didn’t work with the QFX CV103 so this flash drive works well for recording programs off an over-the-air antenna.

Received the advertised SanDisk 128GB USB 3.0 Thumb drive on time and well packaged. It works fine as a storage device. I don’t use it for videos or movies so I can’t comment on speeds.

I use these in media training role playing sessions. Not many flash drives can keep up with digital recorders like Data Video recorders. These do and I can hand each participant a drive with their sessions on it at the end of the day.

These drives are fast enough for most purposes – such as creatng boot drives to hold hard disk images. But, they’re very tiny, and unless always attached to someting, their connectors are easily contaminated by dirt, dust and debris. The hole for a keychain or lanyard is big enough, but I can’t imagine carrying these flash drives around where they would be exposed to physical contamination. But for my specific purposes, no problem.

So I’ve got several little heavy-duty (on the space) flash drives from BH and I like to try different flavors of them. Thus far the sandisk ones are my favorite and they come in handy especially working in a lab. I would definitely recommend, especially going for more space if you can.

I needed a flash drive and I like SanDisk for my CompactFlash cards so I decided to try this one. I was surprised how small it was for the capacity. I wish it had a cap that would cover the front so it wouldn’t get dirty or lint inside it when I stick it in my pocket.
