I bought this item to load movies ( because I travel allot) and large files. When I looked at the speed for this Drive Max. Read Speed: 420 MB/s Max. Write Speed: 385 MB/s I thought is a great item, it works great on my MacBook Pro, and my desk top machine as well, but when I put this drive to my Smart TV, TV was not able to read it the movie files at all. Same time I bought Kingston 512GB HyperX Savage USB 3.0 Flash Drive Max Read Speed: 350 MB/s Max Write Speed: 250 MB/s this one work perfect all the ways. I load a movie 8GB and looked at the speed, on both devices, and looks like that Kingston beat the SanDisk in 10 seconds faster total time was 1 min 43 sec. and SanDisk 1 min 53 sec.

love this small but solid flash drive. made very well. Wish they bump it up to 512GB in the future

Purchased to use with my Atomos Ninja2. So far, they work perfectly. I’ve had many SanDisk CF cards for years and they have performed very well, so hopefully I’ll get the same longevity and relaibility with these. Obviously they are silent and I expect that I’ll get even better battery performance with the SSD over a spinning disk.

Great stick, but not as fast as I expected based on the published spec’s

I like the usb flash drive, it’s fast, but not as fast as it was mentioned on the packaging. Well, still a lot faster then the rest of all flash drive that I have. The encrypted app that comes along is good, easy to use. The flash drive is now become my everyday gear.

The first one would not appear in Finder on either my 2015 Macbook Pro or my 2013 Macbok Air. Joseph in B&H technical support worked with me by phone. We tried to reformat the drive but could not access. Joseph concluded the drive was faulty so it was exchanged for a replacement. Second drive arrived and voila, it appeared in Finder, both computers! So I opened it and clicked the New Folder dropdown and typed a folder name, then clicked enter. The endless pinwheel appeared. Eventually I had to force computer to shut down. After that, this new thumb drive would not appear in Finder, either computer. So I again called and was pleased to again get Joseph, with the patience of Job and expert experience. Somehow a legitimate, and indeed necessary, action on the drive jammed it. On Joseph’s advice this second Sandisk was exchanged for a similar drive from a different manufacturer, delivery awaited. Cheaper versions of USB 3.0 Sandisk 128 GB thumb drives (and all other thumb drives I’ve used) work perfectly for me, both computers. Reason I went for this expensive version is it’s much faster write speed which I needed for a large project. I use the latest OS 10.12.6. Both computers have USB 3.0 ports. Makes no difference if drives are connected directly into computer or via Anker 3.0 hubs.

I upgraded my Sony laptop with 240GB Extreme Pro. It’s a new life for my laptop. Windows and applications work much faster. Battery lives longer. I choosed Samsung EVO vs Sandisk. Sandisk looks better and cost-effective. I am satisfied with the Sandisk. I used Paragon software instead of EZ Gig 4 for Windows migration. It was easier and faster.

This USB flash drive is simply the fastest drive I’ve used – period. Yes, it’s more expensive, but i’s worth it. I transfer video files regularly with this (and the 512GB version) and that would simply be infuriating with a slower (cheaper) USB 3 drive. Only thing that tops this is a portable NVMe drive, but those are more bulky and bigger, with USB-C cables to mess with. No, this SanDisk Extreme Pro checks all the boxes – fast, portable, reliable, durable. Love it.

I’m using this to add more internal storage to the Nivida shield Pro. No issues when adopting storage, I selected this for its lifetime warranty, speed and recommendation by Nividia. Pricing and delivery on B&H were better than Amazon at the time of purchase.
