Erased and formatted for my Mac Mini M1, this is fast. Perfect for transferring larger panorama images (500MB) from my Mac Book Pro to the Mac Mini. Compact, solid-state, and built to last.

No problems using this with a Shogun flame. Full disclosure – just started using it. Small and fast!

Sandisk can be depended upon to live up to its specifications, generally speaking. This flash drive is made well and functions well. I am, however, disappointed with the white screening of the name of the drive and other specifications on the flip side. It rubs off easily and I am surprised that Sandisk doesn’t make this a no-no and make sure the text copy is,otherwise, made to last.

very bad performance. my 5 year old kingston flash drive has the same write speads as this. copying 3gb files only writes at maximum 30mb, not the advertised speed.

So far so good, fast and convenient. I use it with my Atomos Ninja Flame and it works perfectly. Can’t wait to get a couple more…

I was easily able to back up my professional photography studio website and all my client files. I’m very pleased with this product.

I bought this SS drive to replace a hard drive that was flaky. The SS drive is easy to install in a destop, using an extra frame to hold it in place. The San Disk Instructions are impossible to read and understand, I just ignored them. The firmware update requires Windows 8 or 10, utterly unreasonable and I also ignored it. I installed and formatted the disk like any other and it is now working wthout a glitch. SanDisk needs to learn how to write Instructions that can be read, whithout the unreadable Mickey Mouse cartoon approach somebody sold them. Their updates have to use any versio9n of Intenet Explorer. But their hardware is OK. .

For those crunching numbers, and not happy with them, look on the bright side. You’re getting a lot for the price you’re paying!

Solid card, good download speeds, plug and go. Works great on all the shoots I’ve used it on. I use it in my Atomos Ninja Blade.

SanDisk has always made great reliable products and B&H Photo has always had fair prices, expeditious shipping and customer service. I bought my SanDisk 128Gb Extreme Pro when it was first available from B&H and now I have purchased the 256Gb Extreme Pro. I use both thumb drives to transfer large capacity folders (movies, videos, photos, documents, etc.) from one computer to another. Whereas I previously used the 128Gb drive extensively when traveling outside of the local area, I now use the 256Gb drive on all of my national and international trips. I use whichever drive I need for my local transfers. The metal case and retractable USB are rugged features that safely transport my data. And now SanDisk has joined the best family of HDD manufacturers so I’m sure the products will remain high quality and reliability.

it’s very well to install and very fast to use.

zero issues. very fast. never a dropped frame with Blackmagic cameras, for 4K raw and 2.5k raw on the 4K and Cinema cams.

Purchased to use as Windows To Go drive, a cheaper alternative to a Certified WTG drive. Installed WTG with W10 Pro 64-bit using the Rufus app.

I go by faith on this, I’ve bought SanDisk products in the past-so far I haven’t used them yet, but I’m not worried about the quality

Gets me 10 min raw 4k, and about 31 min prores 4k HQ, now, the funny thing is that, the extra frame in it doesn’t help with the BMPK4k, it will move left and right, but not a lot, but the frame doesn’t allow it to be used with the camera. The movement is minamal, but if your running behind someone who’s running, walk smoothly lol

I thought since it was an SD it would heat up but it did not. Using in a Ninja 2 in studio for 1+ hour continuous recordings.
Ernest Spinka (verified owner) –
very fast and like that it is solid state

It works well but does not come close to claimed speeds. The claimed speeds is 420 reads with 385 writes. Now I know these are max figures but I can’t even get close to them. Averages about 100 MB/s below claimed figures. I will attach a benchmark but really not happy with how far under it comes in. I do like that it is a nice clean look coming out of my Surface Studio. I also have my Adobe apps installed to it. Photoshop does load in about 9 seconds so not to bad. But in comparison to my Samsung T3 drive it really does get smoked on handling large files. So now I guess I have to decide if it is worth keeping or just getting a second T3 drive. They are both about the same price.

Created Mintmate 18.1 this SSD loading/running from a legacy BIOS USB 2.0 port and it runs faster than the latest generation PNY USB 3.0 flash drive.
