Excellent super fast.

You don’t realize how inferior other USB sticks are until you try one of these ultra fast USB sticks. I bought this for a 20 channel multitrack recording with a Soundcraft Ui24R audio mixer that required fast USB write speed. After the recording, I needed to load a 1.5G video file from my computer and was blown away at how fast I transferred the file to this USB stick! No more cheap USB sticks for me!

Fast and solid construction! Love it!

I bought this Samsung 256GB flash to create a Windows To Go install as an emergency backup for my PC. The host PC has USB 3.2 ports so I am able to achieve the full speed on the Samsung flash drive. It really is nearly as fast as running from a Sata 6 GB/s SSD. Boot and response times are fine. As an alternative, this drive could easily be used for transporting large files between systems. Bottom line is that at the cost being asked for this flash drive, just under $60 at the time of this writing, the speed and size are truly amazing.

this the second one i purchased. it’s very fast and reliable.

The price was right, considering the speed and amount of memory on this drive. If I could change one thing, it would be to have some kind of mechanism for locking the drive in the extended position. The USB end frequently gets pushed back into the housing when attempting to plug into a computer.

I owned a previous SSD card brand and it did not allow me to see my 4K footage shot with my Black Magic camera. I replaced them with SanDisk and it’s been heaven since.

Sandisk has always been a great product and used for Atomos Ninja. Clean import and export of video files.

My subjective impressions: file transfer is impressively fast, device seems well built. Well worth the money.

Just buy it, you will like it

When you need speed this is the key to buy. Running the ATTO benchmark I’m getting 300 MB/sec write speed and 350 MB/sec read speed.

I love this new flash drive. Arrived on time. The people at B&H are simply the best. Keep up the great service.

So far, so good. I haven’t used it extensively. I use this for recovery, backup, and passwords. Two of the three partitions are, therefore, used infrequently. I only have two concerns: 1) the outside edge of the key chain hole is very thin. I can envision a time when the key chain will wear through the edge allowing the flash drive to fall off the key chain. I’m currently enforcing the edge with zip ties and epoxy to make it thicker. 2) the device gets warm. I have several other USB flash drives none of which get warm. This occurs whether data is being read, written, or not at all. It also occurs whether it’s in a charging port or not. There are no moving parts as I understand flash drives are solid state drives. Maybe this indicates the wrong resister, capacitor, or some other electronic part not working as it should. I guess I’ll find out.

I bought this flash drive to back up large files from my computer and to watch media files on a blu ray player. I transferred an entire 140 gb file from my computer to the drive, USING A 2.0 USB PORT, in 1 hour and 9 minutes! Imagine how fast it would have been with a 3.0 port!

No protection for an expensive product. My USB package came crushed and my USB drive chipped. Don’t want to send it back or wait again considering shipping was already delayed. I won’t buy anything else.

Works as expected. Good price and fast shipping!

Arrived promptly. Is about 4x faster than my older Sandisk 128 GB 3.0 drive. This should be the last thumb drive I’ll need to buy, with its size and speed.

I used San Disk SSD with my external video recorders. I wouldn’t trust any other brand to hold my footage. They are reliable, fast, and dependable.

These Sandisk Extreme USB are fastest drives I’ve ever used. I had the older version of it and it still goes strong after more than 2 years of daily use. Decided to upgrade to 256GB and after three month it already fails SMART checks with Crystal Disk Mark, HDDScan and a few other utilities. Other than this, no problems but can’t ignore the early warnings…
