I used this flash drive to transfer files from my laptop- and I’ll tell you that it rocks! Enough storage to work with, and not bulky. It’s really small, so I have it on a lanyard to keep from losing it. I definitely recommend this flash drive, as it does what it’s supposed to do.

When I received and began to use the SanDisk 1TB flash drive, I became worried when I received an ‘insufficient space’ message when transferring files past about half full. Then, I tried reformatting it, and it has been a champ ever since! No problems with access or reliability. The only caution I have (as others noted) is that it runs very hot in use.

Sturdy, well-built. Love the USB A&C configurations. Convenient, useful.

This is a perfect dual mode USB-A/C flash drive for Mac users who have devices that have one or the other USB port. This drive allows to store data from both devices and transfer between them. The downside is that the drive becomes fairly hot when plugged into USB-C port, but I have not seen any diminishing performance or speed due to that. The file transfer is pretty fast.

Great little drives to deliver to clients. No problems

I wanted to know the actual Write speed, but didn’t get a real world answer. But SanDisk is a GREAT brand (I have several USB drives & Memory cards), so I purchased the 512GB version and tested it myself connecting the USB-C plug to a new Galaxy S22 smartphone with USB-C port. – TEST RESULTS – Transfer of one 2.25GB Video file: Write speed: 43 MB/s Read speed: 100 MB/s – IMPORTANT NOTE: These results might be the optimal since it was ONE large file and the USB Drive was empty (except for that file when reading, so no fragmentation of any kind). With MULTIPLE files, the speed is lower, as on EVERY SSD, HDD, USB Flash Drive and Memory Card. – As every very compact USB drive with two different USB ports on each end that I have used, it gets a bit hot, but so far I never have any problem with any of them. – This one is compact, sturdy and clicks on each USB port position. It also has a hole for carrying. – I am Very happy with my purchase. – If you want faster Read/Write speeds, then an option is to buy Sandisk Extreme Pro SD Card and use an USB Card reader to use it as a USB Flash drive, but total cost is the double of this VERY COMPACT and STURDY USB Drive. Hope this helps other people.

This flash drive is so tiny and yet, it is extremely fast with a USB 3.1 (Type C / Type A) and has 1TB of storage. Thanks

I use with device with my iPad Pro to transfer files (docs & images) to the Flash Drive. Then transfer to my MacBook Pro.

I loved the original SanDisk USB C/A flash drive and this version is even better. I’ve been using SanDisk product for years now and when I Upgraded my Mac I started looking for reversible USB drives. I tried a few different brand but I always loved a solid metal or titanium drive. SanDisk nailed it with these new drives. It’s basically as small as you could possible get a drive with this design. I tried the drives that just had a Type-C port on one end and Type-A on the other but I didn’t like that I couldn’t put it on my key chain. This drive is perfect for that. I don’t do anything more than it needs and what it does do it does exactly as I would expect it. I own several of these now and I’ve never had a problem with them.

hope transfer speeds are acceptable

We did buy 4 of these for videos. We use it on Laptops with USB 3 C, HP, and MAC. It is fast when on a USB 3 or 3.1. 400MBs and may slow to 40MBs. When it’s time-sensitive and needs to move fast, this works. Only thing is, it gets HOT!! I am concerned about how long it will last or may drain a laptop battery fast. Not sure if we will buy this again. We will see how long it lasts.

Really like the drive having both A & C connections. I can go from my phone to PC with this quite easily.

The most important test of a memory or any electronic device is durability and/or longevity. It’s too soon to have an opinion on that yet. But the drive is tiny, has a metallic housing, makes a snug connection and seems to be well built. It doesn’t seem to be extremely fast.

I copied my 2.5 GB file to in less than 45 sec … very happy with it.

hola soy de argentina, lo recibi ayer, lo estuve probando como mencionan algunas personas calienta aun sin transferir datos, a veces extremadamente, espero no tener problemas, el diseo muy bueno.

The design is slim and elegant, and the body is solid, so no or very little risk of damaging the electronic inside. Having the USB A and C on the same unit is a real plus since the new C format is becoming more common now on many unitls
