I purchased it recently and not sure for how long it is gonna last. But, it works! As some other reviewers also mentioned, it get hot during the files transfer; however, it has not been a major issue. After all, it is made of metal.

Runs a little too hot for my liking. The drive is almost always hot. Other USB drives don’t do that.
Andy Lind (verified owner) –
Nicely made, solid-construction, good performance. Totally recommended!
Garry Mohr (verified owner) –
Beatiful and practical design

The fact that it gets hot just means the metal case is doing its job of radiating heat out away from the inside of the drive. But, yes, it gets hot if reading/writing a lot. I use this 1TB flash drive to perform a backup clone of my computer. It’s handy having a complete backup of my computer in a drive so small it fits in my pocket.

Not very bright, but compact

It is fast and works well, but the temperature rises to extremes when in use.

I really love this little guy. The material feels really good and solid and I feel my data will be secure here for a long time! (If I don’t lose it because it’s really small!)

The drive itself is quite heavy in comparison to the competition. Yeah its a USB drive but every gram matters on a keychain. Also, the drive gets too hot to touch, even if you aren’t doing anything with it, just having it plugged in. Never had a USB drive get this hot. And I ordered two with this order, both are the same way.

This little flash drive is portable, can easily latch on a keychain and allow connection with both USB Type C and Type A, making it very to transfer data from an older computer to a newer computer and vice et versa. Lots of capacity for such a small drive.

Will be using these in May for a trip to Botswana. They will be store images from the trip – probably a third backset up and may be used for overflow. I’ve read comments about the flash drives getting extremely hot. I will be monitoring that…and may shorten downloads to keep drives from getting too hot.

it’s great.

I got this to give all family pictures to the kids after they moved on to college. Lot’s of pictures fit on 256GB.

The thing is fast, feels virtually indestructible, and small. Works on both USB and USB-C. It’s just want the doctor ordered for our work with both types of computers at the moment.

Great USB combo, compatibility, and price. Also, very portable and seems durable. The added program is a great aid to handling files. I use it to transfer files from my cellular phone to my PC. Hangs in my car key chain. There may be cheaper ones out there, but I didn’t see them, and this one is SanDisk from a reputable establishment.

Worked great for mirroring the system drive on my new laptop.

Got this 2 weeks ago and love it! The 64 GB of space worked perfect for transferring of small and large files from my Samsung phone, desktop computer and my PS4. The dual plug design is a pretty cool feature as well with the USB-C end working right away in my phone. I also like the fact it is a metal shell instead of plastic so it is perfect for work as well as at home. Very sturdy and well built.

This flash drive looks and feels great. It performs as expected. The small size makes it very convenient to attach to your keys.

Got this for my Grand daughter at school. Her laptop has only USB type-C connectors and the most convenient printers have only USB type-A connectors. With this drive she can not only interface with the printer but is able to move data and images between Type-A and Type-C equipped devices without the restrictions associated with wireless electronic communications. She can create documents on her laptop, save them to this drive and interface with devices having type-A USB connections. 256GB doesn’t seem like much but it seems to more than adequate for these purposes.

Just got it, so cannot comment on long-term reliability. But the drive looks slick and seems to be really fast when copying big files onto it. 3Gb file took less than half a minute to copy
