It’s convenient but not highly efficient Good & functional design. Durable material for minimum safety. BUT the transfer speed, too much general speed. And I think, because of the material, it is easily gets hot. I would recommend other one if you are looking for a very fast USB.

I copied my Iphoto library but it doesn’t open in my Aperture program. Useless to me. Want to return.
Giuseppe Schroeder (verified owner) –
Well made, transfers data quickly. Good price for name brand flash drive. Like the metal construction, but it heats up a bit.
Jamir Abernathy (verified owner) –
I needed a more efficient way to transfer files between my phone and laptop, without hauling cables. This is it.
Kamille Morissette (verified owner) –
My friend has stored all my files on this which saves me time especially when traveling…

There is no merit to go for USB-C style 512 GB from older USB 3 style. It sticks out more, get hotter, more pricy and same performance speed…

I keep no personal files on my PC or Cloud; everything is via external drives. This not only has the capacity to back up my external hard drives, but as an added bonus, my phone as well. It is small enough to keep in our safety-deposit-box at our local bank. This is how I protect our data from loss (ransomware, fire, theft, natural disaster, etc.)

This drive is excellent for sharing files between computers with limited inputs. It is solidly built with ample storage.

Tried this stick on my android. Was difficult to get started but finally did backup entire phone. However it’s a metal case and got very hot while using it. Haven’t tried on other devices but it does have large capacity fairly quick to backup.

Nice compact size for amount of short-term backup/storage. Use for storage over a couple years is probably not very safe due to how they work internally.
Reuben Bechtelar (verified owner) –
Only drawback is one common to all metal USB drives: it gets hot when connected, even if not transmitting data. But at least the swivel cover stays cooler.
Jamison Parker (verified owner) –
Greate unit with enough space with excellent speed. It gets a little bit hot when in operation.

This small device is wonderful, and quite versatile

This Type-C USB is perfect for my tablet and smartphone. I don’t have a laptop, so I tend to use my tablet like one. This USB makes it so much easier to store and backup files since I don’t always use the cloud for backup and 64 GB is plenty for me. Transferring is simple and you can not only copy images and videos to the USB, but documents as well, which is what I’m mainly using it for. I also really like the USB’s design; it has a really sleek high-quality silver look and feel. The USB case swivels to protect the USB itself, which is a neat feature, and can also be stored on a keyring for easy access wherever you go.

Not sure why but this thing gets too hot to touch when doing a large write (say 40GB). Very slow too. Bought 10 of these for the office. Kinda regretting it but they do work fine on small files I guess…
Jalen Murphy (verified owner) –
Small compact flash drive, usable for USB and also type C ports. Fast and efficient.
Antone Kertzmann (verified owner) –
I love this little flash drive! The metal construction makes me comfortable keeping it on my keychain. Yes, it is metal and not metallic looking plastic. It is nice and compact, and I love having both USB and USB C. A friend was admiring it today. I removed one star because, as other reviewers have noted, it does get very hot when transferring large files.
Tanner Runolfsdottir (verified owner) –
Wonderful loading and usage, runs a bit hot though
Carlotta Koelpin (verified owner) –
Love this flash drive! Works well and gives you the option of USB-C/USB-A without the need for adapters.

works as usual for USB thumb drive but having both kinds of USB connector is GENIUS and allows me to connect with just about anything, including Apple devices!
