The SSD Plus SATA III 2.5″ Internal SSD from SanDisk quickly delivers 480GB of storage capacity for your notebook or desktop. The SSD provides sequential reads of up to 535 MB/s and sequential writes of up to 445 MB/s to offer faster boot times and faster access to your data than a traditional spinning hard drive. It is compatible with systems sporting a SATA III interface and an available 2.5″ / 7mm drive bay.
SanDisk has included a SanDisk SSD Dashboard app that helps you maintain the drive’s performance by offering tools for analyzing the drive and listing S.M.A.R.T. attributes. To enable burst write performance, SLC caching is also offered. Moreover, cloning software is provided to help you quickly set up this drive.

I used it in a NUC, prefer using an ssd opposed to the m2, boots up and runs very well. The problem with the m2 is I can’t find a usb to m2 so if I need/want to connect the drive to another computer to copy data or whatever the ssd is the way to go.

I have EVO850 that has trim problem and slow down on read/write as one use the drive. I paid more for the brand name but since I use Linux exclusively, it turned out to be a complete waste of money. Samsung’s official stand is that they do not support Linux. This inexpensive old drive performs just as well without discard/trim problem. I cannot tell difference in performance in real world setting at all, so if you want something that work, get this one it is a killer deal.

The SanDisk SSD has stabilized my 2012 MacBook Pro and stopped the spinning beach ball. I am using Photoshop and two other photo retouch programs at the same time and I am pleased with the performance and it helps with the speed.

Drive started to develop bad sectors after a few months, and when I attempted to use the SanDisk utility to generate a SMART report, it simply reported Failed…. When I contacted SanDisk to request an RMA–having already removed the drive so that I could take photos of the front and back of the drive per their requirements–they then made the RMA process too onerous, requesting that I attempt to put the drive back into service and re-attempt another SMART report.

This SSD lasted only 1.5 years before dying – never had any SSD or any type of drive die so soon… (I’m unsure if the Windows Update was complicit in the death – but the update did not yet kill our second PC’s 240 G SSD which is also a San Disk and that one is 5 years old so far!)

I grabbed several of these to give me the ability to work with 4K video though my Atomos Ninja V and they work fantastic. I bought the Atomos Master Caddy II 5 pack as well and these SSD’s fit right in without any issue. The only thing about these that wasn’t great is that they don’t come with spacers to make them taller. Since I have all of mine installed in caddies permanently it’s not a big deal for what I’m doing. The drives are nice and fast and work very well for video. I haven’t had a problem with any of them so far and since they’re SanDisk drives I’m sure they’ll last a long time.

It really the slowest ssd i ever had, i am downloading a game it is actually use 100% of the disk(info is by the task manager) and make the computer very slow i cant even press a button, if i press for example the windows button it is openings the tab after 20 seconds something like that and in general everything is slow!!! dont buy it
