The SSD Plus SATA III 2.5″ Internal SSD from SanDisk quickly delivers 480GB of storage capacity for your notebook or desktop. The SSD provides sequential reads of up to 535 MB/s and sequential writes of up to 445 MB/s to offer faster boot times and faster access to your data than a traditional spinning hard drive. It is compatible with systems sporting a SATA III interface and an available 2.5″ / 7mm drive bay.
SanDisk has included a SanDisk SSD Dashboard app that helps you maintain the drive’s performance by offering tools for analyzing the drive and listing S.M.A.R.T. attributes. To enable burst write performance, SLC caching is also offered. Moreover, cloning software is provided to help you quickly set up this drive.

I bought this to replace my SATA HDD in my Toshiba laptop. It is lower capacity, as I had a 680GB drive, it but I really did not need that much drive anyway. What I needed was speed, and this really delivered! It is like having a brand new laptop. Didn’t give it 5 stars because it is not TOP of the line, but does anteing really deserve all the stars?

The price was right, I liked it and bought a 480 GB version. This is used in a MacBook. It does not show a complete report in Smart Utility that it does show as verified. That may be the fault of the reporting application. B&H is the best, you will not go wrong here.

Our Dell Latitude 15 5000 had the standard hard drive that came in it and it was extremely slow. We installed this drive and it immediately made the laptop fast and usable. Chatted with Sandisk Support about the software needed to clone the old drive. It worked great and booted up the first time faster than it ever has. iTunes now opens in a couple of seconds where it had been taking more than 30 seconds and would sometimes fail.

Got this drive to work with my Atomos Shogun Inferno and EVA-1. Can handle everything except PR RAW HQ at 240p- everything else is good. Way cheaper than the 12 bit capable drives.

The Seagate Thin hard drive in my HP laptop died after three years of heavy use. The HP 11t x360 is a pain to take apart so I chose the San Disk SSD as a way to never replace the drive again (if the laptop lasts another three years). The laptop boots in half the time with the SanDisk SSD, runs cooler with longer battery life. I am impressed with SSD technology! Also, I had forgotten to write the drive serial number down before closing up the laptop. But, B&H had the serial number on the packing slip!

Very fast and totally silent. I use it inside of an Anker drive case that it installed easily in with the included spacer for portable use. I’ve only owned it less than a month at this point, so obviously I cannot comment on long term durability which is the ultimate test of quality. I will update occasionally.
