On my second one of these, and really enjoy the size, ease of retrieval, and performance. It was a pleasure getting rid of all those CD’s, and DVD’s that I had in storage.

I’ve used the 1 TB version of these for quite a while and have had zero problems with any of them. I’m a hobby photographer with a high resolution camera, so storage space gets used up in a hurry…my photos wouldn’t all fit on the 1 TB model. When I saw that the 2 TB version was on sale for $150 off, I immediately ordered two of them. It was a no-brainer decision. I now have room for all of my photos plus a backup. Highly recommended for anyone who needs large external storage with great data transfer rates.

Fast. Reliable. Geriatric friendly. Pretty much bulletproof unless you do something really dumb. Used almost exclusively with iPad and LumaFusion.

These are pretty fast. The BMD disk speed test shows 320MB/s write and 515MB/s read.

Love these portable drives for travel and backup

It’s fast! It’s light! It holds a lot of stuff! I carry it around in a case that I purchased separately from B&H. I also ponied up for some rubber bumpers that I use to protect it even more. The USB adapter allows the user to use it on a multitude of devices. It ain’t cheap, but you get what you pay for. It does the job it was designed to do VERY well.

I have two of these.Just interested in the smallest, most compact sized HD I could find, as I travel overseas regularly. I am using these as back-up drives and storage for larger file shots.

Even though it cost a little more than if I built one myself, this is a nice deviceglad I got it Im not too sure how much I will use the water resistant feature, or how much shock I usually put on this kind of a thing, but its good to know its set up for that. The adapter feature is a little funky since you have to figure out what to do with that adapter when packing it.

I have a couple of Samsung T5s and this was the first time getting a SanDisk. It is smaller than T5s and the performance is identical. I love the short USB-C cable with the USB-A adapter it came with.

Even smaller in real life than appears in photos. I use it for my offsite bootable backup drive. I’m retired, so I no longer have a really convenient alternate physical location, so I keep this in the car. Not perfect, but at least it’s not at home when I’m away. And I use it for backups when traveling. On photo trips I download images to the travel computer, never erase camera SD cards, and have this for backups – so three locations for images.

Wonderful storage for photo files. Back up my files on both internal hard drive and Sandisk, but do most of my editing directly on Sandisk files.

Using this for backup of video files when travelling. Takes basically no room, very fast transfers and no moving parts all at an affordable price. I like.

This Hard Drive is incredible. So small yet 1T of storage. Incredible! I love it!

This drive does exactly as intended. It also comes with a USB-C to A adapter for devices still using the old standard, which is nice. The read write speeds are close to but not quite 500 mbs, as advertised. I recommend this over the Samsung T5 because of its smaller size, lighter weight, and typically lower price per GB. It is made of plastic that is very light but still manages to feel sturdy in the hand. I don’t mind the polyurethane bottom because it provides enough slip resistance when on a desk, but it does attract lint and dust very easily. I didn’t purchase this for a fashion state though, so the lint is easily overlooked. 10/10 would recommend.

I would have given it 5 stars, but lost the included cables on a shoot, can’t get the speed past 45Mbps with 3rd party cables, used to get more than 150Mbps can anyone recommend or guide a cable to use with it ? I got it mainly for grading in resolve.

the product, as I expected, is excellent, less the handling of the shipment than because of the lack of the product was longer than expected.
