Worked as advertised. Small, rugged design. Not too small to lose. Opening on corner of device makes it easy to attach to larger object or keychain. Nothing extra to do in order to save photos and videos from a Mac.

Took this on a trip and work MUCH better than I thought. Transfer if large photo files was fast.

On a 2018 6 core Macbook Pro, using the Black Magic Design disk speed test the write speed is 488mB / sec. The read speed is 520 mB /sec. This is virtually identical to the Samsung T5. (I have a 500gig T5 that I tested)

I’m on the latest 2019 MBP 16 with USB C and I was expecting something closer to the max usb speed but not so…. Very light and compact. The unit seems to be warmish to hot when plugged in and not in use. Does get somewhat hot while using too. Just sitting plugged in, 99.5 degrees with infrared light temp at area right above plug

This is a great product. I downloaded about 15,000 photos on it in about 3 hours. Love the transfer speed. Like the small size.. highly recommend.

Very pleased with this drive. I bought it to house my Current Projects Final Cut Pro X library and it works flawlessly! Plenty fast enough to edit on directly, so I can keep the same library between machines.

I have been using large capacity USB thumb drives, this one offers more space and speed. Can’t go wrong. If it is a durable as some of my other SSD storage, I will be thrilled. Happy with this purchase.

Love having this for shoots on the go and having a reliable back up for editing. The icing on the is having a place for to clip a carabiner to!

This is a very compact drive. It is designed for travel and works quickly for video editing and is very responsive compared to spindle drives. It does get a little warm but I have not encountered any heat issues. My only complaint is that the USB-C cord is very stiff and short but it wasn’t worth deducting a star for that. I may find a more flexible cord since I often work in tight spaces and don’t want to damage the USB connection on my computer or the SSD. Great value, great product.

Very small drive but high in performance. Length is around same as finger length. Very fast, Wish the length of cable was bit more

I bought the 2TB version of this drive to store my photos on, and so far it has worked out very well for me. I edit the photos directly on this SSD with my photo editing software rather than on my laptop’s built-in hard drive and am quite pleased with how this is working. Transfer speeds to and from the SSD are fast, and the small size of it is great for travel. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it.

My son-in-law is the president of a very successful computer software company, with large corporate clients. He has an extensive computer network at his home, and literally has a large basket of failed “spinning disk” hard drives – which he has replaced on-the-fly in his network as drives fail. I have more faith in SSDs. I bought four of these SanDisk 2TB SSDs. I love these! I just plugged these into the USB 3 ports on the back of my 27″ iMac, and I was ready to quickly backup my rather large collection of high-end RAW photographs previously saved on my four external 3TB Porsche Design LaCie “spinning disk” hard drives. I feel my photographs are more secure now (and I now sleep better). I bought four of these SanDisk 2TB SSDs. I have a database that I use a lot and using this drive instead of a standard drive has cut down the size and weight of the greer I carry. It is very fast as well.
