This is the 3rd one of these I have purchased, I purchased three because they are good and i have not had an issue with any of them. The transfer speeds are great and they are easy to transport!

Been using this for a few days now, and I really like the size and speed of the drive. I also really like the short USB-C cable and small USB-C to USB-3 adaptor. Very handy!

The timing of this DealZone special was perfect. The LaCie external drive I had been using, which contained my Lightroom catalogue and my photo library, had been acting up. It kept disconnecting when it wasnt disconnected (a known issue). The coup de grace came when I couldnt locate my catalogue on the LaCie AT ALL. Now, theres a heart stopping moment. At any rate, I do keep another external back up of all my files and eventually found the originals on the LaCie, they were there after all, and transferred everything over to the SanDisk. The cord that comes with the SanDisk will do the trick connection-wise, but is a bit short. I purchased a separate, red, C to USB cord for it and a little case I found on Amazon. Its great! Very small, (3.75x2x.25), and super light. I travel a lot and will take this with me so I have my catalogue of pictures wherever I go. Keeps the space clear on my computer and saves me from paying to store a bunch of photos and files to the cloud. Quite often in my travels I am in areas without access to the Internet, so an external drive is essential. The SanDisk can tuck safely and securely into a corner of my bag. Like I said. So far, so good!

I have bought 3 so far, two 500 GB and one 1TB, they work like greased lightening for Time Machine backups and any other storage, and they are super compact and of course robust. Fits in your pocket.

From the images I wasnt expecting it to be so small and light. But that was a good surprise. USB C 3.1 is fast! I dont like that it doesnt have an activity light, but other than that, Im very pleased.

I bought this as my main drive for Final Cut Pro. I’m using it over the older USB 3.0 on my 2015 MBP. When I edit my footage from the drive, I don’t have any issues with scrubbing or playback. It’s very fast and does not get hot like a traditional HD. I would highly recommend this product for any media needs.

I have used this for a couple of weeks and find it provides excellent storage capacity in such a small package. I’ve not been able to take full advantage of it’s speed capabilities since I do not have a Type-C connector on my laptop. It does, however, work with the Type-A adapter. The laptop used is several years old and the type-A 3.0 connectors have never given me much more than 2.0 speeds, so I wasn’t surprised at the 2.0 speed when using the adapter. Looking forward to a newer computer with a Type_C port.

It does what it’s supposed to do. Come with a nice small USB-C to USB adapter, so it not just limited to Type-C connections. Wish it had an indicator in-use light.
