Samsung was not compatible with Apple Mojave and after several attempts from their customer NO service I returned them for the Extreme Sandisk. Works great and is a no brainer to set up.

I couldn’t believe how fast I was able to backup my laptop using this hard drive. It is ruggedly made, and tiny so it would be easy to bring along on a trip to back up thousands of travel photos.

Excellent speed and love the small form factor. If you need further speed get the SanDisk Extreme Pro which uses NVMe technology which offers twice the speed of this one. I have both and they work great.

Works great. I have the older version (diamond shaped) and use it all of the time. This one performs just as well. My only gripe is the Type 3 USB cable included. You have to use an adapter to plug it into your computer and its not a snug fit, just one more link in the chain to fail. I moved the drive while it was plugged in and had to repair the disk. Bottom line, buy a dedicated Type 3 to USB cable if you want to use this with a laptop. Other than that a great product. I edit on solid state for everything now, only use spinning drives for archival storage. Still worth 5 stars.

This 1 TB drive is the perfect balance between a flash drive and the larger sized hard drives that have been commonly available…and it is relatively fast!

Love this cute little super-portable drive. It’s the size of a stack of credit cards, so great for traveling light. More important, it’s super fast for backing up and using while editing large layered Photoshop files. With my 61MP Sony, even the 2TB drive on my laptop fills fast, so this is great for the overflow of files that need to be processed.

Was looking for a small durable hard drive for my travels as a UK Pro Sports Photographer and this fits the bill perfectly-Would strongly recommend even though higher cost it is well with the outlay.

This is very fast. I use it mainly as work space when working on Lightroom. It also keeps the catalog. I’m a computer consultant working on big mainframes I specialize in performance analysis. I realized that I needed a fast workspace to get the data from storage to the CPU and back and since this is an SSD it would even be faster on top of the transfer rate. This would extend the life of my Mac Pro 2015. It has been working great, speed up my work. I have a 5D MKIII so the files are large and sometimes going into Photoshop concurrently has helped. This is great for moving around also when I need to go somewhere to do work.

The connecting USB plug is loose with my new 2017 MacBook pro. I dont know, is this ok or not. But I faced abrupt disconnection from my SSD with the slightest movement.

This device has lots of room, it’s a good value, zippy and it’s small and light. Can’t ask for much more.

This is the best portable drive I’ve ever used. It is very lightweight and puts no weight or stress on the connecting cables unlike other non SSD external drives that are much heavier. I use it to store my LR CC photo catalog. This external SSD is expensive, but worth it. Looking forward to buying another one. Great for travel too!

Very compact and faster than a non-SSD external drive. Adapter for older style USB port works well.

This external SSD is very small so it can fit in a packet or bag easily. Very fast and has been completely reliable for months now.
