This SSD can connect directly to my IPAD Pro (using adapter), thru my RavPower (wifi) and directly to my PC. I use this when traveling to offload/backup photos. For my purpose this a great device offering lots of flexibility at a reasonable cost.

Just transferred the VM images to that and it boots in no time. Low profile and light design.

It’s much smaller and lighter than expected. I use a portable to keep all my pictures on so I can edit on the go no matter where I am. The USB-C is a huge improvement from my last drive and I don’t have to worry so much about dropping this one. Seems well built but definitely plastic. I just wish the 2TB was this price!

Best portable storage SSD ever, weighs almost nothing and copies gigabytes of images incredibly fast!

Love using this for a quick backup when I’m mobile with a laptop. Works as expected!

I have experimented with transferring large amounts of data. It does not appear to be as fast as advertised and slower than a comparably sized Toshiba, but it is light and compact. It does not, to my disappointment, have an LED that shows connection and activity.

And light enough that it stays attached when I forget and move my computer!

Really Tiny and Light, was pleasantly surpised

exactly what I was looking for.

Blazing fast and compact, my only gripe is the cord. It is not flexible and sticks too far out. Amazing how the low tech stuff drags on what can be high tech miracles.

The drive works great! Comes with a USB adapter for older machines which is nice. They have an even faster drive now but it’s unlikely your computer has a port to use that speed. This model as of now is the smarter purchase.

I saved all my images to an external hard drive … and back up my images to another external hard drive … even when traveling. My experience with less expensive external hard drive that have moving parts is … it is just a matter of time before you drop it or something else happens to it … and it just stops working. I switched to the SSD external hard drives … and so far … I am very impressed. They are much smaller … great for travel … and since they do not have moving parts … more durable … especially for travel. The only negative is … they are much more expensive.

True plug & play with my iPad. Others have failed this simple task. Thanks, Kevin

I reformatted the disk, with GUID partition map. it allow me to create Mac OS extended (journaled encrypted) disk, and work fine so far. Feel rather warm when heavy usage, it is fast and reliable till date.

This SanDisk 1TB SSD Portable drive I purchased is perfect for backing up the video files from my laptop which I use for editing. This is perfect for back ups since I am videoing over an hour a week of files for downloading and editing. It frees up valuable space on my laptop for future recordings and editing.

I now have two of these and plan to add more…one for each major project. I can (and have) actually edit video from files resident on this SSD.

Tiny, quiet, great storage capacity and super fast with Thunderbolt 3 connection to iMac. Gets a bit warm during use.

I bought this to use as a Time Machine back-up drive for my MacBook Pro. First back-up of the contents of my drive took all of 32 minutes (483 GB) while a similar first back-up on a rotating media drive took all night. Much smaller and light weight than a rotating media drive, robust enough to travel in my messenger bag, I never worry about having a back-up with me.
