I use it to back up my MacBook Air. It does it very quickly. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This SSD is very small and efficient. It works flawlessly with Windows 10. The only drawback is its price. The 2T is great as well.

I was happy with my 500GB Sandisk extreme portable SSD unit until Apple updated my iMac (to Monterey). Then my highly valued secure access vault stopped working with the cursory remark, ‘This application only runs on a SanDisk flash drive’. It is on a SanDisk flash drive of course but is obviously confused. Is it for the bin?

I have owned a few of these now for over a year and they have never let me down.

A fast SSD and works very well with high speed data writing and works well with high-end cinema cameras that can record footage onto SSD’s. No issues- nicely built and super light,

The SanDisk 500 GB Extreme Portable USB 3.1 Type-C External SSD is really small, which is the best for portability. What a great drive for a road trip, plenty of options size wise. Five hundred gab worked for me. The drive was quick and simple to load and can go with me anywhere.

I just bought a 2018 macbook pro, never ever having a laptop. I decided on the Sandisk 2T external drive. It’s perfect for me. It’s small, and I like the 5-6″ cable with it. It’s fast in transferring my data. I can’t afford the Thunderbolt 3 stuff yet. So far, so good. Very happy with the performance.

This is a small external drive, but is great for just drag and dropping photos. You can download the software, but I decided not to, because drag and drop is all I need. I like that it has a rugged cover that not only protects but makes it more grippy. (I have butterfingers.) And it’s small enough for pocket, purse or to toss in your briefcase.

When at one of many computer store workshops that we attended, it was recommended that our camping lifestyle recommends that we get an external hard drive with no moving parts. This fits the bill! Grateful that the price of these SSD’s are coming down. Our WD Passport Ext. H.D. failed after 1.5 years. To recover our media, a place in Calif. charges $700 to $900 to recover data! We learned the hard way, as we did not have iCloud at the time of our ext. h. drive’s failure. Better to use a SSD than an ext. h. d. with moving parts.

I use this for storing digital photographs in the field (I use 2 to make sure that I always have a good copy after transferring from the camera cards). These are reliable and reasonably fast SSDs. 1 TB will last nme for a while (I’m past .5 TB now).

It is rare these days to have a product do what it is supposed to and without fuss. This is one of these products. I have purchased three and have been more than please with all of them.

Bought this in May 2018 so I have owned it for some time now. I have had no problems with it. Mostly it is used when I am travel. I like to back up all my RAW files to 2 external drives and now used one SSD drive for this. I love it works fast. Add feature to this drive is that I find that the slim and narrow design work great when having to pack all your equipment for travel.

Wow – I could not believe how small and light this thing is. I have not had it long enough to speak about speak to its durability, but so far all is good.

I really was liking this drive, but all of a sudden it stopped working this afternoon and I had just been using it a few hours ago. I’m not sure if it’s under warranty as I got it in July 2019. That’s an expensive rental!

We own several of these and general these are a great value. We use them on set for Nike shoots both with backing up, for shooting video directly to (lower end 4k) or editing directly off. Often times I have noticed that these will fail to connect with the computers (no matter what cable we use. If I were to go back I would probably invest in the G-Technology 2TB G-DRIVE USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C mobile SSD

Though I do use this as an external drive for Mac Mini 2018, it might be a great solution for a portable new generation memory stick. Very small, rugged and, hopefully reliable. I feel like it’s a bit overpriced, but I think it will last longer than cheaper ssd.
