This thing is small and solid and because there are no moving parts I have no problem tossing it in my camera bag or sticking it in my pocket. 2TB is enough storage for a whole lot of images or backing up you laptop in record time. It’s fast enough to work with video files and not feel like you are being slowed down by your hardware.

Fast and simple to use. No issues.

I bought this SSD for my ATEM Mini Pro ISO. It has never missed a frame. I love it!
Maryam Kautzer (verified owner) –
Great device that reached 75% of specified speed, which is about as fast as I’ve seen with my system. I deducted a star because the included USB C cable is miserably short.

I didn’t know what to expect from this purchase but I was very pleased when it arrived. The drive is very compact and rugged. It fits on any pocket or camera backpack compartment. It performs well with fast data transfers for my photos. Delivery was also early and well packaged.

Soooo fast

Never had an issue with the many SanDisk Extreme Portables I own. Sprung for the faster data speeds on this one and its worth every penny for quickly transferring video footage.

I got this to back up all my photos, I take lots of nature photos and I do not like saving on clouds, I can save many photos on this.

This item is pretty small, which is a good thing. However the cable is also very small compared to similar products. Maybe about 5. Make sure you can deal with that. I have found it difficult to connect with a laptop – mine has all the connectors on each side. Of course I suppose you could buy a longer cable. I just hate having to spend xtra bucks.

AFTER TWO MONTHS OF USE AND MOST OF THE TIME IT WAS CONNECTED TO THE COMPUTER USING USB CABLE THAT CAME WITH THE DRIVE. COMPUTER FAILED TO READ AND UNABLE TO CONNECT. I TOOK IT TO THE LOCAL REPAIR SHOP AND IMMEDIATED THE TECHNICIAN RECOGNIZED THE USB C WITHIN THE SANDISK WAS DEFECTIVE. HE WAS ABLE TO CONNECT FOR A VERY SHORT PERIOD OF TIME BY WIGGLING THE CONNECTION AT THE SANDISK END. NOW I HAVE OVER 1T OF HD PHOTOS STORED ON THIS DRIVE. NOW HE WOULD HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO RETRIEVE THE DATA. BUYER BE AWARE!!! HE SAID HE WOULD HAVE TO OPEN THE CASING AND THIS WOULD ABSOLUTELY VOID THE WARRANTY.

I needed another storage device to store and transfer photos. The price was great and the speed is perfect for my needs. Solid and safe for use in the field. Just the right size.

purchased one Sandisk and on Samsung SSD with same capacity same price. Sandisk drive worked well for few weeks – we transferred a lot of our photographs and my wife does athletics and sports photography for which we were dedicating this drive. We use Mac. The drive suddenly stopped working after becoming hot to touch. Trying to reach either BH or Sandisk for any recourse that we may have here. Wasn’t cheap! $249.

Very fast shipment, cool quality

Seems to work very well as a backup drive for my desktop and I like the way it looks and its small size. I am not porting it or regularly accessing the files on it so have no comment on portability or speed.

Spendy for the size, but the form factor and speed make up for it. It’s not the most powerful money can buy, but there are very few that truly need that. This is a great option for video editing, even in 4K 60 10 bit
