I’ve been using the V1 of this drive and purchased this one while on sale. It’s slightly larger but still fits in my travel case for the previous model. It’s super fast, feels very sturdy and solid. I edit 4K footage from it and haven’t had any issues. And of all the dozens of drives I’ve used in the past these are definitely my favorite aesthetically! That part isn’t entirely important but with the soft-rubbery border around it I don’t freak out when I accidentally bump it against something.

today I got the sandisk. I was super happy because it is an important piece for my bmpcc but happiness ended in the next 5 minutes, the first thing was that I felt as if the disk was in use, that is, it had already been used and repackaged later when I put it in my mac pro to check the “super speed” that sandisk boasts so much about; the disc heated up very quickly as if it were an iron. this extreme is supposed to be done for extreme things. I think I’m going to return it, I’m very disappointed.

As long as you have USB Type-A (USB 3.1 / USB 3.2 Gen 2) ports the drives are blazingly fast. I bought two for video editing. I store the footage on one drive and use the other drive to render to. The OS and software are on an internal SSD hard drive, making the whole process super fast.

Looks like a toy, serious speed for an SSD drive. I am not going to rehash the specs. You can read. I tested it professionally. Typically these guys slow down after the first half terabyte. This guy keeps going. both read and write. And you can put it on your key chain.

Was stoked these were a part of B&H’s Dealzone deals. Editing on SSDs when working with multi-camera 4K files is a must. I used the Samsung T7 SSDs which were great, until two of them failed and wouldn’t mount anymore. The SanDisk SSD is blazing fast. Highly recommended!

This is a sick little drive, and I mean sick in a good way. This is way smaller than I thought it would be. No need to tote around a large external drive. You could slip this in your pocket and forget it’s there. Took me no time to get it set up on my Google Pixel, using the decent software available on the Play Store, from SanDisk. Would totally recommend.

I was able to write to this drive at about 350 MBps with USB-C! It also is very sleek and packs extremely well in any pocket. This looks a feels very rugged. I wouldn’t be afraid to travel with this… especially with having the hole for tethering to your bag to avoid it falling out. Being a water resistant case, I’m not sure how well it dissipates the hear… but after a few copies in testing, it actually didn’t even get that hot. So might not matter.
