I want to love it. It is quite small, but the cord is short, which isn’t much of a problem. I loaded it with a large backup, about 300 Gbytes, 370,000 files, but it took up 600 Gbytes of space. It was formatted with 1 Mbyte blocks, so small files took 1 Mbyte. I tried to reformat with 4Kbyte blocks, but then it seemed really slow. Not sure if it was, or just appeared to be when I checked. Reformatted again with 64 Kbyte blocks, and it used about 420 Gbytes of space. Acceptable, but not ideal. This is an issue with exFAT though, not the drive I guess. Otherwise, I love it.

Love this drive – wish I’d bought more when they were on sale. It’s blazing fast both for backing up and working on huge layered Photoshop files. With a 61MP Sony camera, my Macbook’s 2TB hard drive fills fast and this is easy to work from for the overflow. The short cord keeps it firmly attached to my laptop. It’s the size of a stack of credit cards, great for traveling light. Highly recommend.
