This tiny 2TB portable hard drive is great. Just moved some very large (50mb) picture files to it for storage. Comes with a very short cord, which I will replace, but is so light, it is currently hanging from the cord.

I’m nor sure if I got a defective unit but while backing up my information this thing was burning hot. I was afraid that it will collapse at some. I wouldn’t recommend it

This is my 4th Sandisk 2TB unit. All four work great and were easy to format for Mac. The only problem with this unit is that the carabiner was missing.

I was depressed when trying to copy BRAW files to my MacBook Pro M1 Max. In 10 seconds the SanDisk disappeared! It just f died! With 2TB of precious videos I did in NYC. The connector is a complete garbage. There is a play.

I bought three of these drives to back up my footage on a film shoot. I’m on location now in Asia and I just had to order a new set of hard drives. These will not work with macOS Monterey. I have an Apple M1 Pro running 12.0.1, and I also tried it on my client’s computer, an older Mac, but still running Monterey. It wouldn’t work on either machine. I formatted these drives just fine before I left on my trip using my 2018 iMac Pro running Sierra. I had no idea this would happen.

I’m mainly a video shooter. I bought 4 of these drives (on sale!) for downloading camera cards in the field. They are fast, silent, and so far, reliable. They work so well I decided to keep one on my desk for editing smaller projects. (iMac/FCPX) So far, so good. The only negative is also a positive: They’re tiny and easy to misplace.

I was surprised by how compact it is. Download and upload speeds are fast enough to handle a couple hundred Sony A1 raw files in a couple seconds. Haven’t dropped or put it’s ruggedness to the test but it feels well constructed. E ought to maybe handle an accidental drop.
