So far it serves the purpose of backing up critical images and will get extensive use in the field.

After months of getting thrown in pelicans and backpacks, this guy is very reliable and speedy for 4k edits. Game-changer for offloading footage so DP’s can get their media back as well.

I would have preferred the 2TB version like the one I use with my own desktop computer to store photo backup files. However, the 2TB version is backordered and the 1TB version is sufficient for the use we have in mind. Installation has been straight forward and, with no moving parts to fail, we expect many years of reliable backup.

This is an amazingly fast upload/download storage facility. The 1TB is twice as large as the 500G one that I have been using.

Paired with my Mac Pro this SSD works flawlessly. Plug and play. Very fast on access as I’m using it for recording with Pro Tools.

I use this for my external projects editing in FCPX and Motion 5. I have no problems with speed or render times. At end of day I back up to my 48 TB OWC Thunderbay 4 (Raid 5). Very handy to take with me to visit clients or for on site Shoots.

I have three SanDisk SSD, two of 2T and one of 1T and I can edit my videos directly from the SSD storage. With SATA HD I experienced so many problems, The speed, sometimes my computer did not recognize it. But with SanDisk SSD, I’m always sure that it will work all the time at incredible speed.

I use two redundant copies to keep my computer hard drive open & my camera memory clear after shoots. One copy I take with me, one stays at home, just in case. Bought these to add capacity since my two HDD were getting full. Small drives fit in the same case as my other two. Easy!

Great for Video Editing and more

Would not allow me to add video files. Would not allow me to reformat it. Total waste of money. Also there is no support from the manufacturer. Would have liked to talk to someone about it.

Title says it all. 2 tb in your pocket? wow. Let’s be polite and say this is so lovely. You can store so much naughty stuff here

Way more compact than I imagined! Product measures about 2 wide by 3 long and just 0.25 deep. Has a handy key ring for portability. Great item if can be purchased for sub-$200. Transfer speeds are more than sufficient for me (still photo heavy with minimal video). Have exported north of 5 GB to this device so far and it’s been very quick. Quality is very nice but time will tell, shouldn’t be any issues as it’s a solid state drive, fingers crossed.

Su pequeo tamao y resistencia lo hace ideal para trabajo en exteriores.

I have multiples of these and love them all!

Just got this thing and connected it to my 2019 16 MacBook Pro with no problem. I then tested it by transferring 110GB to it to see how long it would take. And to my surprise, it was done in 2min and 45secs! This same transfer with my 7200rpm g drive takes over 24mins!!! This little drive is blazing fast. Definitely surpassed my expectations.

This is an extremely fast portable SSD drive and I backed up my 1TB Mac Book Pro in a fraction of the time that a spinning hard drive takes. I just can’t figure out how to create individual folders on it.

i have to many pictures that I DO NOT WANT TO LOSE this is perfect backup
Nadia Nader (verified owner) –
This was smaller than I expected, which was a plus. Very pleased with this drive.

Just purchased a ScanDisk 2TB Portable SSD and immediately proceeded to make a backup of my most important files. It worked perfectly with all my data files and the transfer was really fast. I’m very happy with my purchase.

I know others mentioned this, it is a concern to me. This drive gets very hot when it is plugged into my M1 Mac laptop. My other disc drives stay cool and they are in use all the time. This is hot even when not in use. Is this normal? I have had internal SSD drives on my laptops for a while and never had this problem.
