I have tried two of these now, and neither can be formatted using Disk Utility. I have spoken with both SanDisk and Apple technical support with no resolution.

It works good it’s small can fit in your shirt pocket if you needed but that just gives an idea of the weight and size also it has a rubber outer layer keeps it from sliding around or falling out of a bag and the speed works great to hold several videos so it’s not clogging up sd cards or you pc

Used for Tethered shooting on MacBook. Works perfect. So small with a tough exterior. Simple, does everything well. Loads of storage capacity. Formatted it for Mac – APFC. Easy to move images to iMac for final processing. Have a second for backup. Flawless performance so far.

I didn’t realize from the photos but this hard drive is super thin and small. Almost half the size in thickness and length from my old WD hard drive. Much faster too at 2000mb / sec read speeds . Happy with it BH is always excellent with fast shipping

This SSD is plenty fast for using as a media disk in Davinci Resolve. The Blackmagic disk speed test says it’s suitable for everything except for the very top-tier RAW footage — which I have no plans to shoot in the near future. The drive works reliably, stays connected, is fast, and doesn’t get too hot during operation. The only problem I see is that it includes a USB-A to USB-C adapter, rather than a separate cable. I foresee the adapter getting lost at some point, though I don’t really have a need to connect this disk via USB-A right now.

I use this for downloading cards on set, and it’s very fast. I use it with the Canon c70 and R5 with CFexpress card, and have not had single problem with the drive.
