I do have a 1TB version already since several months and the half speed slower version since more than two years. Never let me down and it is very fast. Bought this one as a long term storage along with a new Macbook Pro. While it will not reach the same speeds as the Mac internal SSD, it will serve as a long time storage and to transfer files between computer and it is fast enough to serve as a temporary drive. I would highly recommend this drive. My 1TB has traveled around the world several times, never a single issue.

Have had this a short time. Using original cable that was provided and SSD drive keeps periodically ejecting on its own and shows message Disk was improperly ejected. Support staff make you remove all data and reformat .. load data back on and see if it does it again. First time I’ve experienced this with Sandisk product. Customer service not great.

This is the portable storage device I have needed for a long time. No more thumb drives or spinning disk drives. This SSD has a small form factor, its in my brief case easily and has the space necessary to transport anything I need for a project. Wish I had bought the 4TB version. I still might.
