This is by far the fastest portable ssd I’ve used – coming from samsung t5 and t7’s mostly.

I knew it was small from the photos, but in person, it’s surprising to see just how small it actually is–makes my IPhone look huge. When connected to my Apple M1, it transfers files very quickly and, of course, silently. I now realize my old RAID hard drives make quite a racket! When working for several minutes or more, the SSD does heat up but not enough to be a problem. For its size, speed and convenience, I recommend this SSD.

i have got the 2tb and now i buy this one (4tb) i don’t know why, but its take some time like in the HDD its not save files immediately as the 2tb when i save file (from, photoshop ) its take about 3-5 sec to start save it, when its start its do it fast. (sorry for my bad English)

I decided to invest in an external SSD for my GH6 now since external USB SSD Recording is now available with firmware v2.2. Once receiving this drive I performed back to back recordings at the highest PRORES Bitrate available for recording to an approved external SSD. Couldn’t break it for 4hrs of writing consistently and erasing the SSD drive using the Panasonic GH6 format utility. Great price and great performance. Thanks B&H

Though much less capacity than my 5tb USB-A drive, it’s MUCH faster. Read and write speeds are excellent, and the build quality of the drive itself is excellent. Also very small form factor, which makes it easy to store in a pocket or backpack. And thanks to B&H for the fast/free shipping!

You can’t beat this size and speed for this capacity. I would leave on a cool surface though, and try and give it air, it gets hot as heck when transfering TB size files.

Fast and straight forward. Wish everything worked this well!

I own a few from this SanDisk family. A great and affordable (especially when discounted) way to store photo catalogues, as an added external storage. When using an M1 Pro and above the faster speed of this version is a valuable upgraded.

It’s a solid build, fast, nice drive. Nothing negative to mention yet, working as expected.

Can’t beat this.

It’s a portable, one side is covered by rubber, the other side is hard plastic. I can feel it’s premium product. I’m not testing it’s full speed yet, but it’s a good back up.

Did a speed test on the drive and read/write speeds were under 1000MB/s- less than half of advertised max on a MacBook Pro via USB C. Disappointing for the premium price I paid. Is it worth the money?

I use this to hold the Final Cut library for a weekly video series we produce. The bus speed is fast enough to edit a 30-minute three-camera shoot without any lag. This allows me to work on the series at home or at the office, which makes my work schedule much easier.

I am using this to clone a rather large home directory and provide me some scratch space to do some other work. Using Carbon Copy Cloner, the times are on par with other NVMe drives as it is limited by the USB-C connection on my MacBook Pro.

The drive is small, very sturdy with 2 terabytes. Cable is just the right length & works great with the M1 iMac. Connects to the Thunderbolt port, USB 4. Hoping it lasts a long time. Great price as well!

I’ve used this specifically with an RME audio interface as a direct-recording drive. I got sick of arming inputs and outputs for recording and gave up on the torture test of getting this thing to stutter – it hasn’t dropped any audio from what I can throw at it. Not 1 sample dropped so far. I’ll absolutely be getting more of these. If you’re coming from the slow spotty-transfer USB thumb drives this drive will have you laughing!

using high reso photos and videos, this is something I must have to keep the data with speed. So small and light compared with my old same capacity HD. Strongly recommend

Just got mine and although I haven’t yet had a chance to properly put it to the test (my computer is a bit dated at 3 to 4 years old), it works great so far. Really love the build and form factor!

Small compact , it does what it is suppose to do . I like it because I can take it on the move and it reads fast . We in a day and age where less is more and this carries a big punch .
