This hard drive works extremely fast. I was able to get it to 950/mbs write and 900/mbs read. Even thought it is fast, it gets EXTREMELY hot to touch! This gives my 2019 15″ MacBook Pro a good run for its money when it comes to getting hot lol. Also not thunderbolt 3 if you were wondering.

I have used this for just a short while, but the device is very well made, rugged, it is small, and it’s very fast while connected to the MacBook Pro via USB-C.

Purchased this for photo backups a few weeks ago. It has performed as expected to this point.

Great for backup an extended trip.

I have never been able to get the full rated speed, Even bought a pci-E card for the desktop but could not get the full speed. Maybe some highend laptops or next gen desktop will be able to get the full speed. You should consider the Extreme and not the Pro as you may get the same performance with your computer

Seriously! 500$ for an ssd that doesn’t come with a suitable thunderbolt cable! To get anywhere near the claimed speeds you have to buy yourself a tb4 cable as the one in the box maxes out at 800mb/s. Shameful move.

I bought this to transfer video files from my computer…super-fast! So much faster than the previous ten, worth the upgrade and cost. Keep your stuff backed-up creatives!

It is so portable but not speed as it say that is all about my concern. i wish it meet as it say in details… it say 2000+mbs Read and Write but when i check it says below 1000+RW… from both blackmagic and crystal apps… also say it wont support 10bit 2160p50 and 2160p60
