Connect a variety of USB 3.0 Type-C, USB 3.0 Type-A, HDMI, mini DisplayPort, VGA, Gigabit Ethernet, SD/SDHC/SDXC, microSD/SDHC/SDXC, and 3.5mm audio peripherals to your Windows, Mac, and other USB Type-C devices using the silver HyperDrive Ultimate 11 Port USB 3.0 Type-C Hub from HYPER. This hub connects to your host system using an integrated 6.7″ USB Type-C cable and contains one 5 Gb/s USB 3.0 Type-C port, which also delivers up to 60W of power to compatible devices.
To maintain compatibility with legacy devices, this hub also has three 5 Gb/s USB 3.0 Type-A ports. The HDMI and mini DisplayPort support resolutions up to 1080p @ 60 Hz or 4K @ 30 Hz, and Windows and Mac systems are able to support one 4K display @ 30 Hz, while Windows systems can support two 1080p displays @ 60 Hz. Legacy VGA displays are also supported at 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz. The 3.5mm audio jack allows audio equipment to be connected and network connectivity is achieved using the Gigabit Ethernet jack. For digital content creators, the SD and microSD card slots support the UHS-I bus at speeds up to 104 MB/s.
Please note that this hub is not compatible with Thunderbolt displays.

I never liked this device mostly because the cable is so short which means it must be placed right next to the computer. So if the laptop is in you lap or on a stand it’s dangling off putting stress on the computer ports. The vga is garbage. It also burned me a couple of times cause it runs really hot and the case is metal. I kept thinking it probably wasn’t go to keep putting in my bag when it was so hot. after a little over a year it stoped working. It’s in a scrap pile now.

The hub seems to work just fine, but the cord being too short leads to tons of cables coming into it, which messes up one’s desktop

The mini display port is not thunderbolt. You would have to buy another adapter for the thunderbolt 2.

Bought this to use my portable usb drives on the new macbook pro, but it’s proven useless. Big disappointment after dishing out more than 100 bucks just for an adapter.

Buyer beware! I bought this USB hub from Hyper by Sanho, and it doesn’t function. In my particular case, it drops the drive connection on all and any drives, which has resulted in a number of data losses. It also runs extremely hot, and I have concerns it will start a fire (which it appears it has in some cases with other users). I contacted Hyper, and after some very slow responses, they provided a few solutions, but none of these have worked. They have since stopped trying to resolve my issue completely, which remains. It seems that, whilst the products steal their styling from Apple, and the CEO seems to be an expert at fund raising through crowd funding, the products are sadly lacking, as is their customer service, which is frankly appalling. I wished I had read more reviews before buying, as it would have saved me a lot of trouble dealing with Sanho. This is why I am making this comment now to warn others away from trouble. As of now, I just have an expensive paperweight (which actually isn’t that nice looking for a paperweight). I resolved my connectivity issues with a $3 dongle. I wish I had known before, as I would have saved myself $126 + shipping. I hope others don’t get caught in a support nightmare with this company. Please choose some other better products from the excellent B&H site instead!

Purchased to bridge the gap between a 27 LED Cinema Display and an M1 MacBook Air. There are very few affordable USB-C hubs out there with Mini DisplayPort, so this was a little overkill but does the job swimmingly. It does emit a light yet constant high-pitched ringing when my Apple USB-C power adapter is connected – not a dealbreaker (I have two different LED lamps in the same room with the same flaw) but isn’t ideal. There also seems to be a blue LED status light INSIDE the unit, which has the odd quirk of shining out of a few of the unused USB ports and the SD slot (there doesn’t appear to be a window anywhere on the hub it is intended to be visible from).
