It is easy to carry and helps you in everyday situations like presentation charging USB data transfer card reader. It definitely helps with my MacBook Pro 16 inch. I believe it will work with all MacBook and other products with USB-C, but I only tried it with my 16 and 13 inch MacBooks

I tried using the USBC port on the side and it wouldn’t go in. After checking that the port I was using was correct I noticed that the ports were shifted slightly. The internal component shifted slightly from the aluminum exterior (i guess it’s not glued?) and it was enough to cause a misalignment that wouldn’t allow the side ports to be used until you pushed the plastic so that it was aligned with the aluminum cut outs.

Only has one USB-c connection type, so if you need more than one of those than this is the product for you. Otherwise it’s a compact addition to my desk setup that I am glad I bought. Works as expected and is dependable.

I was having trouble finding USB-C hub that would be compatible with my Macbook Pro laptop with M1 chip. I’ve been searching for a while and I tried a couple that didn’t work. This adapter has met all my needs. I was concerned with some of the reviews that indicated this adapter ran hot when in use. I had one by another manufacturer that immediately became hot during use and I had to send it back. This one seemed a bit warm in the beginning and I was concerned that it would become hot, but so far it has performed well and the warm touch is not a concern. I love the number of ports available and the quality seems solid. It was also recommended by the office supply store that I called when I was having mega issues finding the right adapter in the beginning.

USB-C passthrough is good. Kind of miss another USB-C output and 3 USB-A outputs are overkill. I did however buy this mainly for use with 3.5mm and the output is very, very bad. To me it seems like it is gained extremely high. There is a constant buzzing when I plug it in, all the lows disappear and it's just in general a very, very awful sound. Do NOT purchase this if you wanna use the 3.5mm jack.

The USB-C port was not working on the HYPER Hyperdrive Power 9-in-1 USB-C hub. So I returned it for another one. But the replacement hub’s USB-C port did not work either. I also noticed that the headphone jack did not work on the replacement hub (I did not check the original headphone jack). Having one hub with a faulty port is understandable. But having two points to a systemic problem with the manufacturing of the device. I will not be purchasing other devices from HYPER.

I was excited to get this adapter in the mail for my MacBook Pro. I bought it for the Ethernet connection.however, it tends To drop after 20 minutes. I’m going to keep troubleshooting and hopefully come up with a fix. I like the design but if it doesn’t work….

Over the years, it seems I have always had more peripherals than ports on my laptops. I tried several different brands and have generally been disappointed in their performance. Either they were very slow or more often failed to perform at all. This Hyperdrv PWR USB-C Hub works great. From the minute I plugged in my three external hard drives into one USB-C port on my new MacBook Pro, the connections were solid. I can easily access any of the drive or transfer data from one to another with little delay. I am very pleased with this product and can strongly recommend it to anyone considering a new hub.
