Scotts mechanical lawn mower is a healthy alternative to electric and gas-powered lawn mowers. This old-fashioned lawn mower only requires your energy to function. It does not use gas or oil so it does not emit fumes. This push mower is low maintenance since you only have to be mindful of the sharpness of the blades and nothing else. My Dad put the mower together and with no tools needed. Tried it out in the yard and did what it was expected to do.

I wasn’t sure if I would be able to assemble on my own, but it was very easy. It was also very easy to use. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Excellent mower. Lightweight, yet sturdy and does an excellent job cutting grass. Any little twig or chunk of mulch with cause the mower to jam and stop immediately, so be sure to rake your yard well before you start to mow. After 10 times, the blades remain sharp. Goodbye, gas and cords!

Great little mower, good price and does the job, it takes a few passes when the grass is higher, but does the job

I should have bought a reel mower 50 years ago (I’m 73 yo). The Scott mower is great! No dust in this dry season and mowing is very easy. Even my wife is using it now.

This is perfect for my small, even lawn. No spark plugs, no oil, no gas, no cord to worry about chopping up…totally appeals to my non-mechanical self who couldn’t start up my gas mower once Spring began. The lawn looks nice too as it attacked the dandelion heads with ease while I gleefully chanted “Mama had a baby and it’s head popped off!”

This mower is perfect for my rear yard in my townhome. Yard to small for a gas mower. Great buy for the right price. Very Happy

Excellent mower, light and easy to push. However… the handles are a bit short, another 4″ to 6″ longer would be preferable.

I have had the mower just for a few weeks. So far so good. Assembly was fine – though I had to push the handles together very hard to get them onto the blade part. The good part of that is that the handles are not going to come loose any time soon. It is much better than the 20 plus year old mower that it replaced. I’m impressed with how well it cuts. I think many people with smaller lawns – not those giant stretches of land you see in the countryside – would be better off with one of these than a motor mower and their neighbors would appreciate the quiet too!
