Selected this electric hedge trimmer for several reasons & quality features. Hardened steel blades given on this model vs stainless option, is more favorable to me for outdoor – yard work environment. Trimmer arrived in new condition w/ soft vinyl blade sleeve. Hardened steel blade cutting system was thoroughly & freshly oiled, and ready for action upon opening. I strongly like the fact, cord connect is direct into fixed plug type on tool itself rather than tool already having an attached short length of power cord dangling free from itself. Expected good performance for my landscape tasks. Scott’s name + color combo + 3-yr. warranty. . .not bad either !
