A little heavier than I had anticipated, but it’s been working great. Occasionally binds up if I run it across a branch that is a little too thick, but overall I’ve been very pleased. I was able to trim a twelve foot high, 30 foot long trumpet vine hedge in about 10 minutes. Same hedge would have taken me about 2-3 hours by hand.

The Scotts trimmer is well made and an excellent value for the price. I had an minor issue and I called customer service. I was pleasantly surprised they were pleasant, accommodating and professional. I would recommend this trimmer for that out of reach shrubbery.

Works great, only improvement would be for the cutter blades to release if you cut a branch that is to big. It jambs and you have to rip it off of the limb.
