This is my third cordless grass shear and I think it’s terrific. I picked this one because I thought the higher voltage would have more torque and it does. It cuts thru my thick Bermuda grass with no problem.I like to use a hand shear (to save time and for the exercise) instead of my electric edger. I’ve only used it once to edge over 200 feet.

This little grass and shrub shear is pretty sweet! I’ve only used the small attachment so far, but so far, so good. Works like a charm for small garden plants (flowers) and small shrub trimming. It was more than I expected, compact and lightweight.

Nice and lightweight to use and seems to hold a charge for quite awhile. it is better than my old shrub shears at cutting those very short stems. The round handle fits the hand very well, the old shears I had were heavier and more bulkier in shape. Should you be doing quite a bit of trimming in one go you probably want to wear a glove as the combination of holding both the trigger and the safety buttons is a bit awkward and will lead to rubbing and a possibly blister on the side of your trigger finger. That and the tendency for the round handle to rotate in your grip are the only drawbacks I encountered!! I am happy with this shear, it’s way better than the older ones I’ve had. I have not used the edger blade as yet and possibly won’t need to use it much at all, but it is great having it available!! The main use is hedge and boxwood trimming. I am not a great fan of lithium ion batteries as I have had a few die on other types of power tools, so I will hold back comments in that regard pending any early future demise of this one!!!!
