Slower than a 7200 rpm drive, but cheaper too. No complaints after a few weeks of use.
Kade Beahan (verified owner) –
Purchased a 4 pack and everything has been working smoothly since I installed them.
Jana Spencer (verified owner) –
I used three of these in my NAS and got 17.5 TB using SHR on a Synology DS1019. This gave me over three times my previous capacity and I have room to expand as needed. As of 1/16/20 the cost per TB was: Disk Cap Cost Cost/TB 8 TB $220 $27.50 10 TB $262 $26.20 – Best Value! 12 TB $331 $27.58 14 TB $445 $31.77 16 TB $539 $33.69

Great reliable drive for my Drobo!
Mekhi Borer (verified owner) –
I am using these in a QNAP NAS @ RAID5. The read speed through the NAS is 1500 Mbps. They are not overly loud either. Pleased so far.
Jenifer Deckow (verified owner) –
I had 2 of these drives in my QNAP NAS, and started getting tight on space. Added 2 more for a total of 48TB. Added the drives to the NAS and they were immediately discovered and recognized. The price was good, the shipping was fast, and they were well packed for shipping. Couldn’t ask for anything better.

I now own 3 of these, along with smaller TB versions, and they run great in my Drobo 5D3. No issues whatsoever.
Lacey Graham (verified owner) –
Only have had it for about a month now, but it’s working fine. It’s a hard drive so not much to say. I have 2 running 24/7 in my NAS. A little noisy. If they die I will update the review.

Great hard drives
Kiara Kunze (verified owner) –
Fast and good
Freda Collins (verified owner) –
The price was the best on the market. The drive is quiet with plenty of storage. Plan to purchase another in the future.
Norris Sawayn (verified owner) –
Best price to storage ratio, best brand and more quiet than other brands. Got at special price. Very satisfied.
Ayla Nader (verified owner) –
Added 2 of these to my Synology NAS (already have smaller Seagate NAS drives) – never had an issue and good integration with Synology (health status, etc.)
Ephraim Beahan (verified owner) –
Purchased this drive with the Synology NAS to run Active Backup for Office 365. The drive functions fine and is quiet, even when during heavy access. Plan to purchase a second drive to setup RAID 1 soon.
Sidney Hickle (verified owner) –
I received this item and after installing it had immediate problems. The drive was clicking like the drive I was replacing that was going bad. Access time is very slow at times while it is making noises. Maybe this drive was handled poorly in transit.
Rozella Huels (verified owner) –
I wanted the 10TB drives for my NAS unit, but the arrival date continued to be pushed back. So when I purchased the NAS unit, I bought the 12TB instead for a little more money but more storage. I have not had any issues and the unit performs to my expectation. I will be purchasing more soon.

It is great!
Taryn Nikolaus (verified owner) –
Fit perfectly and working great in new Synology DS920+ NAS
Hellen Okuneva (verified owner) –
Recently purchased four drives for a NAS server. Drives are quite enough and fast enough for my needs.
Nelson Grady (verified owner) –
Added these drives to backup our Synology unit at home that acts as a file server. The file server has older 7200 RPM drives that make a lot of background noise during read / write operations. The 5400 RPM drives are very quiet compared to the other drives. Seem to be very solid. Time will tell.
