I’ve always used Seagate drives and never had any problems. Two of these are in a network storage unit setup in RAID config. Access is screaming fast! Won’t disappoint.

I bought 5 of these. Probably should have purchased one extra as a spare. Plugged and played no issues. NAS up and running.

Just installed this drive (IronWolf NAS 6TB) and is working well. It installed easily, without faults or problems. At this point only time will tell how reliable it is and providing the claimed MTBF of 1 million hours.

Nas drives working good

The drive has been running well, but unfortunately I have a Fractal design case and the screw holes are further apart than in my previous 5tb drives, thus the screw holes on my drive bay tray are off and I can only have 2 of the 4 in there. It seems the drive is heavy enough where this wont be an issue, but its still too early to tell.

Those 6TB drives are an affordable NAS drive that is well likes among the users. I picked it because of it’s price, it’s good reviews and the fact that it includes 3 year warranty and data recovery service within the warranty period. So far – no complaints.

Great price and fast shipping from B&H. Purchased another drive to increase the capacity of my Synology NAS to match the other Seagate 10TB IronWolf drives that are already installed. High speed and reliable. Great drive for a great price.

Works just the same as the OEM version and comes at slightly better price, been using these types of drives for my NAS system for over 3yrs. Also very satisfied with how quickly they were shipped to me from B&H, will buy again!

This is the 6th drive in my 6 bay QNAP NAS. Same as the other 5. I am using them because of the CMR technology and durability. I’ve had a good experience with them in my Drobo while other drives have failed and had to be replaced.
Christelle Hagenes (verified owner) –
Came shipped in normal cardboard enclosure, in addition held securely in box with no room to shake around. Drive works great in Synology Nas.
Antonetta Skiles (verified owner) –
Bought it about 3 weeks ago and I’m impressed by the speed and how quiet it is.
Junius Goldner (verified owner) –
Purchased 2 of these for a Synology DS214Play NAS. They hot swapped without any problems, each taking a few hours to restore. The Synology ds214Play handled the 8TB drives just fine and registered and utilized the full amount of memory. They have been running for a few weeks without any problems thus far.

it is i like your stuff it is for me
Christy Hayes (verified owner) –
Nice price on these drives for the NAS. It seemed like 4TB was the best price point for the larger drives. I purchased 2 and with SHR raid I will be able to add on the fly as I have 2 bays open.

I previously bought Western Digital drives for a brand new NAS. One failed within the first couple of months, and WD took more than 6 months to replace the defective drive, and then only after multiple battles with their CS. I bought the Seagates while that was still open. They installed easily and have worked without an issue. Nothing flashy, nothing special, just plug and play. So, if you’re considering various brands, buy the Seagate. The prices are almost identical, and the small premium is worth it.

I put four of these on Synology Nas 420 !and it just works. Had it for 2 months now.
Marilyne Lind (verified owner) –
Reliable but way too expensive
Sabrina Roberts (verified owner) –
Noisy enough where you wouldn’t want your NAS in the bedroom. No other issues after three weeks.
Darwin Lueilwitz (verified owner) –
Well built, heavy duty drives with an unusually long warranty. A little pricey but worthwhile for critical data backup.
Ivah Ryan (verified owner) –
Good service. HDD was extra wrapped in box.
