Awesome customer service

I purchased 2 drives and put them in my NAS and up and going.
Nayeli Cremin (verified owner) –
I purchased 4 of these for a DS920+. Two would not spin up – DOA right out of the box. Their replacement by B&H was handled quickly and efficiently. The replacements are running fine, although all of these 16Tb drives are very noisy – somewhat akin to sitting in a laundry room. By comparison, I’m running 4Tb IronWolf’s in a second DS920+ and they are almost silent.

Purchased 8 of these and one of them was DOA out of the box. It would not even spin up in a NAS. Seagate did offer to replace the drive but I had to pay to ship a brand new drive to them if I wanted it replaced under warranty. At least B&H paid for the return shipping. I can only hope they work for a few years like they advertise.

IronWolf drives have been great for me and on the only issue I’ve had, Seagate replaced the drive despite it being out of warranty.
Larissa Cummerata (verified owner) –
This thing is working great so far!

Lot of drive space for my home movie setup. Perfect!

It works, went on sale the next day.
Brando Towne (verified owner) –
I store a lot of my editing projects on this and so far it’s been great. Fast enough for my needs.
Annamae Spinka (verified owner) –
It also seems to have worked in a Drobo Pro but the Drobo Pro (old 8 bay) seems to have run into a problem when more than 3 16TB drives were installed.
Daisha Dicki (verified owner) –
I have 3 of these now. Super drives. 5! year warranty. Decent price. Performance is good.
Lesley Kuhn (verified owner) –
Very nice.

Unfortunately attempted to setup RAID 1 on set of drives ordered. One is working flawlessly but the other would not recognize out of the box. Appeared to be either mechanical or issue on the board, as it would spin up, but very loud clicking. Not a great impression for a new drive.
Waylon Schaden (verified owner) –
Works as expected which makes life easier. Yes it is a bit pricy but worth it. Thank you for the Super fast shipping & corrected errors.
Shyann Hudson (verified owner) –
Packaging well done, easily recyclable. The drive joined its 16TB Ironwolf companion in the Synology NAS. Can’t report on the noise level because the NAS is downstairs, away from my desktop. All in all, well satisfied.
Zane Emard (verified owner) –
I recently purchased the Synology DS920+ with 4 Seagate 8TB IronWolf Pro drives. My system has never worked faster.
Cydney Sanford (verified owner) –
Awesome customer service
Cordia Friesen (verified owner) –
Upgraded from eight 10TB HGSTs to four Seagate 20TB drives. The Seagates are quieter and run cooler. They are also slightly faster. Problem free so far. For redundant bulk storage of large media files these disks can’t be beat.
Mary Ortiz (verified owner) –
I bought these to replace 5-year old WD RED drives in a NAS, and they’re great. The performance is better (so is the warranty), the capacity is greater for less cash, but they do run a little bit hotter and a little bit louder than I was expecting. Neither is a major downside, but something to be aware of if you’re sensitive to those sorts of things.
Stanton Hane (verified owner) –
Reliable and pretty fast. Great when using RAID redundancy setups.
