Jesse Rice (verified owner) –
HDD is fast and relatively quiet. Lots of space. Fits snugly into my external enclosure. Works like a charm on my Mac, just have to format it first before use. A special shout out to B&H as I initially ordered the wrong product and the customer solution team sorted it in a timely manner. This is the reason why I keep coming back!
Gilda Stokes (verified owner) –
Best price to storage ratio, best brand and more quiet than other brands. Got at special price. Very satisfied.

Ok, maybe its not cool for a grandma to say this drive rocks. However, I really like the product. I bought 4 of them to build a NAS for my network. Easy to work with.
Marlin Blick (verified owner) –
This is the 6th drive in my 6 bay QNAP NAS. Same as the other 5. I am using them because of the CMR technology and durability. I’ve had a good experience with them in my Drobo while other drives have failed and had to be replaced.
Remington Powlowski (verified owner) –
Replaced 2 drives in a Synology nas for more storage space. Fit as expected and now up and running. Super quiet, especially compared to the HGST units I replaced them with.
Graham McGlynn (verified owner) –
Fabulous Harddrive. I have been using Seagate drives for many years

I got this to upgrade my Qnap NAS from 3TB to 12TB. Previously went with another vender that has some issues with not advertising they where using SMR technology in the drives. Read a good few reviews before opting for the Seagate Ironwolf as I want a reliable drive with large storage that will last me a long time. This fits the bill. Also has Ironwolf Health Management that shows up in the Qnap NAS storage along with SMART to detect health of drive and to monitor for any issues, which is a nice bonus.

I bought a QNAAP 1277 NAS along with 8 IronWolf 12TB drives but one drive failed within a day. Reformatted it and it failed again. B&H replaced the failed drive immediately and I have had no problems since.

Works great in our Synology 4 bay NAS.The NAS is Like a new lease on life. With tons of space, we’re moving our old DVD archive routine onto the NAS. When a drive fails (which it will) more Iron Wolfs will replace with no down time or data loss.

It’s the loudest hard drive I’ve EVER heard. Put 4 of these in a RAID array and it sounds like a bucket of marbles has been poured out on a washboard. The bucket is as deep as your data goes.
Berenice Dicki (verified owner) –
Received quickly with the terrific service I’ve long come to expect from B&H. Works as expected for the short while in service.
Pablo Armstrong (verified owner) –
I bought 4 of these to go into a Synology NAS station. They all fired up the first time and are working great.
Patience Eichmann (verified owner) –
I bought 2 of these HDD for my SYNOLOGY 218. As recommended by Synology.com, these drives would be the best match for my NAS. Inserted both of them and the NAS did the rest. I couldn’t ask for anything more.
Boris Ankunding (verified owner) –
The drives work great in the Synology DS220+
Laurianne Rice (verified owner) –
The drives are very quiet. I am using them in a Synology NAS. (Purchased from B&H) I have the unit running 24/7 and the data transfer rate is great. They were easy to install and I had no problems on start up. I have cycled the NAS through several on/shutdown cycles without any problems from the hard drives.

Fast service, in stock.

I purchased these for for their capacity in a video editing NAS which also utilizes a cache ssd to saturate a 10 gbps connection. The drives are perfect for my needs and have excellent endurance through long transfers of upwards of hundreds of gigabytes. I am planning to purchase more of these in the future.

Only have had it for about a month now, but it’s working fine. It’s a hard drive so not much to say. I have 2 running 24/7 in my NAS. A little noisy. If they die I will update the review.
