this is my second purchase of this set of two drives. the second set was a little expensive but its totally worth it. I use it on 6 port synology drive.

Although not officially supported, the DroboPro recognizes the 16TB drive and is working fine (so far).

Excellent value

This is my fourth set of IronWolf drives. Each for a separate project. I’ve found that I can depend on them to be very reliable.

Works well in a QNAP NAS. IronWolf Health features are supported by QNAP QTS operating system. When compared to WD Red 4TB drives in the same NAS, these drives run at a bit higher temperature, but seem a bit faster with the 7200 rpm vs 5400 rpm speed difference.

I needed another Ironwolf for my new NAS set up.. My concern was CMR vs SMR. So far so good with the drives.

Bought two – one was dead on arrival. Dead one was replaced and so far both are doing fine with no issues. Installed in a Oyen Digital 5 bay drive enclosure.

I purchased this drive to replace two 2tb seagate firecuda drives and obtain some central storage capacity for my desktop. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this NAS drive was faster than both firecuda drives and it provided me the storage I needed. Installation was essentially plug and play and transferring existing files went smoothly. The price was excellent and as always B&H sets the standard for customer service.

Happy with the product and happy with the service from B&H.

Using this in Synology NAS and performed S.M.A.R.T checks. Already moved some data on to it. Working well.

Love these new NAS drives ! I ordered 6 of these for my new NAS. Works like a charm, and B&H delivered these to my door with UPS and took care of all import duties and taxes for me at the time of ordering online. So effortless and smooth ! A BIG thank you to the B&H team. They are second to none when it comes to online purchasing. Thank you ! BTW I’ve also posted a review of the Synology 6 bay NAS – it is amazing !

I bought 9 of these in 2017 for my SOHO Synology NAS. My wife and I have a small consulting business. We use the NAS for backing up the computers, intranet, email, and other typical server uses including a Plex server. Of the nine drives I have had only one failure. It occurred almost 3 years in, and was covered by Seagate warranty. Because the NAS is set up with two drive failure tolerant Synology Hybrid RAID we did not lose any data. Seagate had a warranty replacement drive back to me in 4 working days. Overall I’ve been very happy with these. They work well, and they’re reliable enough for home use without the cost associated with an enterprise-class drive.

The price was the best on the market. The drive is quiet with plenty of storage. Plan to purchase another in the future.

Overall great! All 4 disks I got with the bundle are working well, but still early to say that for sure. Those are running for a little bit longer than a week at the time of this review, and so far so good. Would give 5 stars based on the past experience with Seagate NAS HDs, I owned Synology Servers since 2013 and I still have some of the disks from that year and all are still working at 100%. Definitely recommended, only reason for 4 stars, instead of 5, is that the 10TB are a bit noisier than the 4TB I used to.

Added these drives to backup our Synology unit at home that acts as a file server. The file server has older 7200 RPM drives that make a lot of background noise during read / write operations. The 5400 RPM drives are very quiet compared to the other drives. Seem to be very solid. Time will tell.
