Works great in my synology ds1515+. Took a while to rebuild my array but this was expected. So far so good
Carey Ullrich (verified owner) –
Works seamlessly with my QNAP TVS-672XT. Quick read and right access.

Nice price on these drives for the NAS. It seemed like 4TB was the best price point for the larger drives. I purchased 2 and with SHR raid I will be able to add on the fly as I have 2 bays open.

I bought 4 of these to go into a Synology NAS station. They all fired up the first time and are working great.

I got 4 of these for my personal Synology NAS that I use for my tons of video and photo data. I have been long customer of Seagate and in over 20 years never had a single issue with one of their drives. this is another in that long tradition and I hope ti will last as long and perform as well. Best, David

No problems yet installed it to a QNAP NAS and it was pretty much plug and play after I figured out how to properly set up the drive.will buy another one soon.

I had two open stations on an 8 station DS 1819+, but we had run low on space at 26 TB. These two drives integrated with the existing WD NAS drives and effectively doubled the size of available space. It took several days for the RAID to spread to the new drives, but when it was finished we had 48TB of storage available. No hiccups, issues, or anything.
Isac Marks (verified owner) –
In a NAS, RAID 5, they plugged in and just worked.

Good

Just installed two of these in my NAS and was pleased with the noise level. For comments and concerns about their relative noise level that appear to be on line, these are not any different than the WD Reds that are in my other NAS. Recommended.
Mona Stracke (verified owner) –
Replaced 2 drives in a Synology nas for more storage space. Fit as expected and now up and running. Super quiet, especially compared to the HGST units I replaced them with.
Braeden Larson (verified owner) –
Used on my Synology 2 bay NAS. It’s been almost 6 months and no issues.
Flossie Hickle (verified owner) –
Added these drives to backup our Synology unit at home that acts as a file server. The file server has older 7200 RPM drives that make a lot of background noise during read / write operations. The 5400 RPM drives are very quiet compared to the other drives. Seem to be very solid. Time will tell.

Used in synology NAS. low noise and reliable
