It works. Using this as a data dump for months now. No issues!

Product is good, fast and no issues.

So far so good they work. Filled up almost the entire NAS so it was days straight of constant writing to the 4 disks to build out the volume. So far so good. I’ll add a 5th maybe once the price comes down.

Running quiet and fast in my QNAP NAS. Love the seagate warranty! in 15+ years I had one drive (of about 16 in total) fail (not this type!) Send it back to Seagate and got a replacement in two weeks – what more do you want from a HDD?

Good service. HDD was extra wrapped in box.

works well in the drobo,, just plug and play.

I’ve had no issues so far. I did a certify test in SoftRAID before adding it to my RAID 5 volume. It took almost a week to certify, but there were no errors.

For the money you cannot find a better $/GB out of high capacity NAS specific hardware. It does grumble a bit louder than my 3TB WD Red but read times are vastly improved for my multimedia NAS. Love it!

I bought a QNAAP 1277 NAS along with 8 IronWolf 12TB drives but one drive failed within a day. Reformatted it and it failed again. B&H replaced the failed drive immediately and I have had no problems since.

My NAS drive was starting to fail so I didn’t hesitate to purchase this one as it was on Netgears Approved List. Put it in the enclosure and it rebuilt the Raid without any problems.

Large capacity!!! I always need more space… After buying the Synology DS220+ I had to upgrade my drives within the first year… Seagate has always been the most reliable hard drive for me. I have had occasional bricks, but never an issue with replacements. A bit slower this time due to the supply chain issues. I won’t blame Seagate or B&H for that.

Works wonderfully in my Synology Raid System.

I purchased 8 of these drives to fully populate a Synology DS1817 and all come up great and are working well.
Bailey Miller (verified owner) –
Bought 4 of these for an Asustor AS5304T 4-Bay NAS. Good price-point for the capacity. Installation was easy and they are working great for ~10TB in RAID-5.
Rhett Fisher (verified owner) –
A fantastic 12TB solution, works beautifully with Synology technologies. A big drive with lasting performance.

BH had the best prices at the time of buying, in fact a good amount lower than the lowest I could find being new and under warranty. I bought my first set of 6tb Seagates for my NAS and just recently bought my second set which are still in the process of being expanded into the current volume on my Synology device. So far, they have been performing beautifully. I might at some point need more space, but these should handle it just fine for a number of years.

Just installed this drive (IronWolf NAS 6TB) and is working well. It installed easily, without faults or problems. At this point only time will tell how reliable it is and providing the claimed MTBF of 1 million hours.

Replaced 2x2TB HGST drives (2011 vintage) in my file server with the 4TB IronWolf. I do 20-30GBs of transfers daily. File transfer rates across the network with the HGST drives averaged 100-120 MB/s. The IronDog only gives 75-85 MB/s transfers. Test transfers to and from another computer with a WD Red 1TB 5400rpm drive average 98-110 MB/s, so it’s not rotation speed. Same computers, SATA III/6 GB/s everywhere, 1GB LAN network, no other traffic during testing – yet 25% less speed. The drive does work, just longer to do everything. Wish I’d bought a WD or a newer HGST instead.

I wanted the 10TB drives for my NAS unit, but the arrival date continued to be pushed back. So when I purchased the NAS unit, I bought the 12TB instead for a little more money but more storage. I have not had any issues and the unit performs to my expectation. I will be purchasing more soon.

good harddrive went right to work with no issues on my system
