This is such a basic piece of equipment I’m not sure what to say. It is easy to connect (any USB drive is), & access speed, both up & down, is fast. I haven’t had it long enough to know how durable it is but my past experience with Seagate drives has been good.

I needed a lot of space for raw photo files on remote photography trips and 4 terrabytes should be plenty. I’ve had good luck with Seagate and use them for my RAID system backups. This portable drive comes in a small package but isn’t as shock proof as a Lacie so I purchased a Ruggard case to hold it while traveling. I’d prefer an SSD but a comparable drive would be too expensive for my needs. So far so good.

This little external hard drive saves a lot of everything. I’ve put all of my files from my computer and It barely made a dent in the amount of data saved. I have enough space, that I will not if ever have to buy another one again. Very pleased to have all my work files in one place. The price was very reasonable when I bought it.
