Great little drive — I plugged this into my HDMI 3.0 port and everything worked as advertised. Does exactly what was expected.

I like that you don’t have to use extra software to use the hard drive for a back up device.
Delphia Fisher (verified owner) –
I find that retrieving info is somewhat slower than expected or slower that the same one that I already have.
Keith Adams (verified owner) –
Simple plug and use. I have USB 2.0 and it powers it without any issues and completely quiet. I would purchase another one again. Excellent external hard drive! Great shipping and service from B&H Photo. 5 Star Company.

Very slim

Haven’t used it yet as my laptop says that it isn’t readable, nor can it repair it to be able to read it. Not sure if this is defected or if they’re selling products that don’t even work.
Isom Herman (verified owner) –
good product and easy friendly

Nice deal at B&H. The storage unit was exactly what was looking for and at a price that felt very comfortable paying. Delivery was in time and service flawless.

popped it out of the case and put into Ubiquiti Cloud Key Gen2 Plus to upgrade storage… works great. HOWEVER, don’t forget to backup the orig 1TB unit so you can restore the system to this new device or your Cloud Key must be reprogrammed in total. (buying this in the case and throwing away the case is much cheaper than buying the bare drive — go figure.

So far so good. I reformatted it easily to be Mac and PC compatible as I use multiple devices depending on my mood. The design is a nice touch, but purely cosmetic. As long as it holds up, I believe it will suit me well.

Up to now it is working fine! I am happy with it.

This is the second unit of this model that I’ve bought. I use them for weekly backups. I bought the first one about a year ago, and it works fine. The read/write speed is decent, similar to other USB 3.0 external drives I’ve used.

Its the second Seagate 4 Tb I have and, as some others of 1 or 2 Tb Seagates that I own, this is fast, light, small, reliable, secure. Besides, its a long long time since I crashed one of these, so, so far, they work Ok for me.
