The Seagate 2TB external hard drive is perfect for our needs as a backup. It very much plug and play, much the same as a flash drive would be but so nice not to be concerned about enough storage. It is a little bigger than a 3×5 index card and about 1/2 inch thick. With a price of $55, you can’t go wrong.

I needed extra storage for my 1TB PlayStation 4 and this hard drive did the job and for a great price. Looks very sleek and modern. Works great so far. The PS4 formatted the drive in about one minute and it was ready to go.

I bought it to be used on my Seagate media player; at first it wouldn’t work but after some Googling, found out I need to reformat the HDD using MBR table and NTFS format. Apparently those disks now factory-shipped with GPT partition scheme. After re-format, disk worked fine without requiring external powered USB hub.

I bought this drive to save RAW files while tethered to my laptop. Works well with my setup. It’s fast enough (I shoot architecture) and big enough to serve my needs. The only possible complaint I could have is there is no light indicators that it’s attached and awake.

Only just received it and it works fine. Comparatively speaking works as well as the two Western Digital models I’ve had for a lower price. As with all harddrives the proof of how good it is to see how long it lasts after years of good performance.

I purchased this drive to backup all my data. With 4tb of space, I was able to fit all of my data so everything is backed up and stored in a safe location. I recommend you back up your data too. This drive is small, slick looking and worked great. While I did get decent transfer speeds with the USB 3 connection, I did not get full USB 3.0 speeds, so it did not perform at true USB 3.0 expected speed and for that reason, I cannot give it 5 stars. Worked great with Windows 10. Great price from B&H and awesome free shipping, you cannot beat this deal! I purchased another one to backup my imac.

I like Seagate products normally and I thought 4tb for the price would be a great value however when the transfer speeds are reduced to 1-2 mb this drive is worthless too me. The only thing I would use this drive for is a back up and hope that I would never ever have to restore from this drive. This is just a paperweight.
